The federal government appears to be backtracking on their controversial tax policy that would have seen employees taxed for discounts they get at work. John Power, a spokesman for the National revenue Minister Diane Lebouthillier told Global News earlier today that it was in fact the CRA who “changed the wording” in the tax proposal that initiated the outrage ...and that this was done without the government’s knowledge.

Trudeau taxes continued - After the Federal Government's flip flop on their “will they won’t they” tax of employee benefits, many Canadians are saying that they’ve had enough. Matt Gurney is one of those Canadians, calling out our government for “screwing up a lot of things lately.”

Abdulrahamn El Bahnasaway, the Canadian caught plotting terrorist attacks targeting the New York subway, concert venues and Time Square has “serious mental health and substance abuse issues.” Newly unsealed court documents show the 19 year old Mississauga resident began plotting his “US project” barely out of highschool, and had hoped to “create the next 9/11.”

The internet is going crazy after the trailer for Star Wars: The Last Jedi was released last night.  The trailer was released during yesterday’s Monday Night Football game - This is the 8th movie in the Starwars franchise, and it hits theatres across Canada on December 15th.   

A refugee family from Mississauga whose home was devastated by a fire last Saturday, has received what they’re calling a “Thanksgiving miracle.”    

 This past weekend, McDonalds announced they would be bringing back their super rare szechuan teriyaki sauce the sauce for a super limited time and only in select locations in the US. So on October 7th, large crowds turned up at those select McDonald’s locations...not realizing how limited this sauce was. Hundreds missed out...and the cops even had to be called at some locations as the crowds became angry.

 The Harvey Weinstein drama is continuing today, as audio was released  of a conversation between Weinstein and Ambra Gutierrez from March 2015, where he admitted to groping her.  Today ,Gwyneth Paltrow, Rosanna Arquette, Judith Godreche and Angelina Jolie all spoke out to the New York Times about their experiences with Weinstein, admitting that they had been harassed by the film producer as well.
