Reluctant Servants

The Spirit gives to us the new life promised in Christ. It is never something achieved, but something received.

It is only in the giving away of our lives that we get it back.

There is a river of life flowing from the temple, flowing from the lamb who has been slain, deep with God's love, and wide with God's mercy. There is a river, and we are invited to swim, to plunge deep in the stream, to be washed, purified, cleansed.
