Welcome to my "Unscripted" series! Per the title... these episodes are unscripted (even though my other episodes are scripted that does NOT mean they are ANY less genuine!). 

At a point in time, I felt so far away from God... like he left me out to dry. You know the story in the Bible about the paralytic whose friends lowered him through a roof to be healed by Jesus? That was most definitely my situation. I'm thankful for my family and friends who carried me back to Him. Long story short, your circle is so crucial. I couldn't name everyone who pitched in to help me, but you know who you are... thank you!

This second episode of my "If I Could Do It All Again" series is about something I'd definitely change if I could go back in time. People pleasing is something I still struggle with and I know plenty of people out there struggle with it as well. In the end, it's no fun for you. This episode... I consider to be a venting session about hair. Even though my thoughts were fairly scattered I did mean everything I said about Black hair. I love all of it's versatility and am a huge proponent of people doing whatever makes them happy! :)

Who made or set the standard of what it means to be Black? I sure didn't. And I don't know who did or who has that power. Please enjoy this public apology.

This venting session is based off of small experiences I've had. Of course no love is lost, but I'm sure if I as someone who has grown up in the church have experienced this I know that others have as well. I'm not talking about any one person or church in particular, just in general. Regardless of the people Jesus is still great and I'm a huge advocate for church. I just found my experiences a little ironic.

It seems like the general population has tons of reservations against the COVID-19 vaccine, especially Black people. The purpose of this episode is to allow for the audience to hear the POV of a young, Black, woman in the medical field who is in favor of the vaccine. The goal of this episode is not to tell anyone what to do, it's only to offer some insight. Disclaimer, we were wearing masks while recording so if we sound distant or muffled, that is why!
