Story Transcript:

Cy: Ar fore braf haf, roedd y tirwedd yn Snowdonia yn llawn gyda chromlechi lush a bryniau mwsoglyd.
En: On a fine summer morning, the landscape in Snowdonia was full of lush cromlechs and mossy hills.

Cy: Roedd yr awyrgylch yn llawn arogl pridd mwsoglyd ac y sain o afon fach yn llifo'n dawel.
En: The atmosphere was filled with the scent of earthy moss and the sound of a small river gently flowing.

Cy: Yn hamddenol yn y gwersyll, roedd Gareth a Cerys, dau frawd a chwaer, yn paratoi i fynd am dro.
En: Relaxing at the campsite were Gareth and Cerys, a brother and sister, preparing to go for a walk.

Cy: Gareth, y brawd hynaf, oedd bob amser y sawl sy'n meddwl am ddiogelwch.
En: Gareth, the older brother, was always the one who thought about safety.

Cy: Roedd e am gadw popeth yn ei le.
En: He wanted to keep everything in its place.

Cy: "Mae'n bwysig cadw at y llwybr," meddai Gareth.
En: "It's important to stick to the path," Gareth said.

Cy: "Mae'n ddigon peryglus yma heb anturio'n ddiangen.
En: "It's dangerous enough here without venturing unnecessarily."

Cy: "Ond roedd Cerys yn dringo efo'i sgidiau mochyn rhos, ei llygaid yn sgleinio o gyffro.
En: But Cerys was climbing with her pig's trotter shoes, her eyes gleaming with excitement.

Cy: "Ond Gareth," meddai, "dyw hi ddim bob dydd gallwn ni weld y golygfeydd gorau.
En: "But Gareth," she said, "it's not every day we can see the best views.

Cy: Rhaid i mi fynd i'r llwybr newydd yna!
En: I have to go to that new path!

Cy: Mae'n edrych yn gyffrous!
En: It looks exciting!"

Cy: "Gareth aeth yn dawel am foment.
En: Gareth went quiet for a moment.

Cy: Roedd yn poeni.
En: He was worried.

Cy: Ond roedd Cerys wedi gwneud ei meddwl i fynu.
En: But Cerys had made up her mind.

Cy: "Os nad wyt ti'n dod, bydda i'n mynd fy hun," gweiddi Cerys gan ddechrau cerdded i gyfeiriad llwybr arall, llai teithio.
En: "If you're not coming, I'll go by myself," shouted Cerys, starting to walk towards another, less-traveled path.

Cy: Roedd Gareth yn teimlo tensiwn ynddo.
En: Gareth felt tension within him.

Cy: Roedd yn gwybod nad oedd yn gallu gadael ei chwaer ifanc ar ei phen ei hun.
En: He knew he couldn't leave his younger sister on her own.

Cy: "Arhoswch, Cerys!
En: "Wait, Cerys!"

Cy: " gwaeddodd, yn dechrau rhedeg ar ei hôl.
En: he shouted, beginning to run after her.

Cy: Cyrraeddon nhw gyda’i gilydd i le hardd lle roedd y golygfeydd yn cymryd anadl.
En: They reached together a beautiful place where the views took their breath away.

Cy: Y bryniau'n amlygu yn erbyn yr awyr las, a llyn disglair yn sioe'r haul yn y pellter.
En: The hills stood out against the blue sky, and a sparkling lake was a showcase for the sun in the distance.

Cy: Roedd Cerys yn edrych ar Gareth gyda gwir werthfawrogiad.
En: Cerys looked at Gareth with genuine appreciation.

Cy: "Roeddwn i eisiau i ti weld hyn," meddw Cerys.
En: "I wanted you to see this," said Cerys.

Cy: "Rwy'n gwybod dy fod di'n poeni, ond dyma yw'r fomentau sy'n werth y risg.
En: "I know you worry, but these are the moments that are worth the risk."

Cy: "Gareth wnaeth cael gafael ar ei anadl, ei galon yn llon.
En: Gareth caught his breath, his heart cheerful.

Cy: Oedd e'n gweld hynny'n now.
En: He saw it now.

Cy: "Roeddwn i ddim yn meddwl bod hyn mor bwysig i ti," gwnaeth Gareth ateb yn dawel.
En: "I didn't think this was so important to you," Gareth answered quietly.

Cy: "Ond rwy'n falch fy mod wedi ddod.
En: "But I'm glad I came."

Cy: "Cyd-ddeall a daeth tawelwch rhwng y ddau.
En: A mutual understanding and quiet fell between the two.

Cy: Roeddent yn eistedd yno, yn rhannu'r olygfa hardd, wedi trosglwyddo eu hofnau ac yn dod â'u perthynas yn nes.
En: They sat there, sharing the beautiful view, having moved past their fears and bringing their relationship closer.

Cy: Roedd Cerys yn dysgu gwerthfawrogi cyngor Gareth, a Gareth yn dysgu gadael ei hun i antur.
En: Cerys learned to appreciate Gareth's advice, and Gareth learned to let himself embrace adventure.

Cy: Wrth i'r haul ddechrau diflannu y tu ôl i'r bryniau, roedd y brawd a'r chwaer yn adrodd straeon am yr antur yn chwerthin yn ôl i'w carafan.
En: As the sun began to disappear behind the hills, the brother and sister recounted tales of their adventure, laughing back to their caravan.

Cy: Roedd eu unoliaeth wedi cryfhau, a'r haf hwnnw'n fuont newydd yn atgofion a fyddent byth yn gadael y traciau gorau.
En: Their unity had strengthened, and that summer became new memories that would never leave the best tracks.
