Dave Cavossa is President of the Commercial Space Federation (CSF), officially joining on June 3, 2024. Mr. Cavossa is a long-time space and satellite industry executive working at the intersection of commercial space, government affairs, and government services. Cavossa also was bitten by the entrepreneurial bug in 2015 and started his own tech startup in the golf industry which he built, funded and sold recently to a competitor before moving back into Space industry. In addition to building his own Space 2.0 Consulting LLC, Dave was most recently lead for the U.S. government business at Agility Beyond Space (ABS) – a GEO FSS Satellite operator based in Dubai.
Dave likes to think he has seen the space industry from every perspective – government employee, sales and business development executive, operations manager, P&L owner, startup founder, consultant, and now 2 x time trade association leader. Throughout his career in the space and satellite industry Mr. Cavossa has held various leadership and staff-level roles. At the Satellite Industry Association (SIA) he served for 6 years as Executive Director and Chair of the Board. He also served in various executive roles with multiple satellite/defense contractors including Harris Corporation, CapRock Government Solutions, and Arrowhead Global Solutions. Mr. Cavossa also began his career in 2001 at NASA Headquarters in D.C., as an intern, working in the Legislative Affairs and International Relations offices.
Mr. Cavossa was a Space Policy Fellow and holds a Master’s Degree in Science, Technology, and Public Policy from The George Washington University Space Policy Institute. David completed an Exec Certificate Program in Business and Strategic Marketing from Northwestern University. David also obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Physics, Astronomy, and Political Science from Wheaton College, in Massachusetts.
Mr. Cavossa lives in Warrenton, VA with his wife Ashley Basquin-Cavossa – a fellow trade association executive who leads political affairs for the Investment Company Institute (ICI) in D.C. They have two boys – Langdon (14) and Barrett (10) who keep them on travel baseball and flag football fields literally every week and weekend for 48 weeks a year.

Glen Martin has over 30 years of experience in the formation of development and finance platforms in the renewable energy and space infrastructure. Prior to founding The Extraterrestrial Mining Company (XMC) in 2023, he was the founder and CEO of Hyox Inc. a developer of green hydrogen ‘electrofuels’ for airports and spaceports. Before that he founded Infrastructure Energy, a developer of community-scale intelligent grid projects, and Pod Generating Group (PGG) a developer of terrestrial solar PV projects. PGG developed and sold a CAD328 million investment for its first 60MW of solar photovoltaic projects in Ontario, Canada. Glen previously co-founded ProtoStar Limited, a satellite operator that closed USD540 million in funding to construct and launch two direct-to-home television satellites serving Asia, ProtoStar I and ProtoStar II. Glen also developed new satellite initiatives with Hughes Information Technology Systems in Russia, Brazil, Hong Kong, and India. At the beginning of his career, Glen worked for McDonnell Douglas Space Systems Company (now The Boeing Company) on the International Space Station, as well as Boeing de Havilland Canada and Rolls-Royce Canada. Glen holds a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Aerospace Engineering from Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU) in Toronto, Canada and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Southern California (USC) in Los Angeles, California.

Bradley Cheetham is a lifelong space advocate, highly experienced engineer, a three-time entrepreneur and, seasoned graduate-level instructor. He is best known as the co-founder and CEO of Advanced Space where he leads company in its efforts to enable the sustainable exploration, development, and settlement of space by delivering solutions in flight dynamics, technology development, and rapid turn-key missions to clients across the space industry. Advanced Space is the owner and operator of the CAPSTONE spacecraft, which successfully arrived at the Moon in 2022 as a pathfinder for NASA's Artemis program. Bradley serves as the PI for this mission which represents the first-ever commercial spacecraft to operate at the Moon.
Cheetham earned a degree in Aerospace Engineering and Mechanical Engineering from the State University of New York at Buffalo and received his Masters in Aerospace Engineering Sciences from the University of Colorado at Boulder, there he also conducted significant research on spacecraft navigation at the Moon in support of a Doctorate of Philosophy under the guidance of the late Dr. George Born. He created and taught a graduate level course in Commercial Spaceflight Operations at CU Boulder for 7 years.
As an advocate for the space industry, he was a co-founder and currently serves as the Chair of the Board of Directors for the Future Space Leaders Foundation, is a member of the Entrepreneurship and Investment Committee of the International Astronautical Federation, and serves on the Board of Advisors and the Board of Trustees of Students for the Exploration and Development of Space (SEDS). As an advocate for the Colorado entrepreneurial ecosystem, Brad serves on the Board of Directors for the Blackstone Entrepreneurs Network (BEN) Colorado.

David Marsh is a space industry professional focused on using technologies in orbit to improve life on Earth while understanding the geopolitical implications of space exploration. He previously served as the Director of Space Station Strategy for Voyager Space, where he helped plan for the future of human spaceflight onboard commercially-owned spacecraft. A member of The Explorers Club since early 2024, he is an alumnus of the Young Explorers Program, where his research addressed the impact of space technology on remote Arctic communities. Prior to his time in the space industry, he supported the US government as a consultant, working on security cooperation projects in the Middle East and Latin America. He received his bachelor’s degree in international relations from the University of California, Los Angeles.

Kerri L. Cahoy, Sheila Evans Widnall (1960) Professor of Aeronautics and Astronautics as well as Space Sector Head at MIT, received her B.S. (2000) in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University, and her M.S. (2002) and Ph.D. (2008) degrees in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University working with the Radio Science Team on Mars Global Surveyor. From 2006 to 2008, she was a Senior Payload and Communication Sciences Engineer at Space Systems Loral in Palo Alto, CA.
From 2008 to 2010, Dr. Cahoy was a NASA Postdoctoral Program Fellow in Exoplanet Exploration at NASA Ames Research Center. From 2010 to 2011, she was a Radio Science research scientist on the MIT Gravity Recovery and Interior Laboratory (GRAIL) lunar mission team at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center. Prof. Cahoy currently holds the Rockwell International Career Development Chair.
Dr. Cahoy leads the MIT Space, Telecommunications, Astronomy, and Radiation (STAR) Lab, part of the Space Systems Laboratory.

Dr. Namrata Goswami is a Professor of Space Security with the U.S. Space Force Schriever and West Space Scholars Program at Johns Hopkins University and teaches space policy, international relations, and emerging technologies at Arizona State University and the Joint Special Forces University. A former Jennings Randolph Senior Fellow at the U.S. Institute of Peace, she has testified on China’s space program before the U.S.-China Economic and Security Review Commission and serves on the NATO PfPC journal “Connections” editorial board.
Dr. Goswami holds a Ph.D. in International Politics from Jawaharlal Nehru University and has authored several books, including Scramble for the Skies and The Naga Ethnic Movement. Her work has appeared in journals such as New Space and Strategic Studies Quarterly, earning IDSA President Awards in 2009 and 2010. She has been featured in podcasts by BBC World Service, Al Jazeera, and The Space Show.
A recipient of numerous accolades, including a Fulbright Senior Fellowship and a Minerva Research Initiative Grant, Dr. Goswami has also spoken at TEDx and serves on the International Astronautical Federation Space Security Task Force.
