Shaan has opened a sushi restaurant, founded a bio-tech startup, ran an idea lab in Silicon Valley and most recently sold his startup Bebo to Twitch. He’s also the host of The Hustle's podcast ‘My First Million’, where he talks to self-made millionaires to understand exactly how they struck it rich. In this inspiring conversation, Shaan argues that people are too risk averse, and describes how a growth mindset is all you need to achieve success, no matter what your innate skills or talents. He says if you’re not clear on what you want from your life and career, if you don’t know what game you’re playing… then you’re playing somebody else’s game.
