Peter Katauskas is owner and president of Alexander Financial Group, an insurance and financial services firm. He’s been married to his wife Connie for 42 years. They have three married children, Eric married to Kelly, Brian to Bre, Julie to Chad, and eight grandchildren. Son Brian is a Youth Pastor at Northland. Peter holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Taylor University. He also has a Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter designation from the Chartered Property and Casualty Society.

Julie had the honor to work with some of the brightest, most courageous people over the past seven years. Together, they created deux mains a social entrepreneurial business that fights poverty through the productions of high fashion ethical footwear and accessories.

The hybrid business model includes their nonprofit partner, REBUILD globally. REBUILD globally was born in the disaster of the 2010 Haiti earthquake and survived its wake by embarking on a mission to provide a sustainable solution for survivors - replacing conventional methods of charitable aid with a social business ecosystem. They have been working to improve the lives of those most affected by poverty and the earthquake for seven years through the creation and incubation of our fashion brand, deux mains. REBUILD has trained, equipped and empowered craftsmen and women to be ready for the workplace and they then have a direct line to dignified, living-wage employment at deux mains, which is owned and operated by the survivors who dreamt of its inception.

Dr. Hamilton hung that “shingle” at the entrance to his office in the rural mountains of western North Carolina in June, 1973. Five years and more than five hundred babies later, he left the mountains to teach family medicine to aspiring young residents at Florida Hospital in Orlando. It was there that he discovered an aptitude for medical administration that led him to complete a master’s degree in business and to pursue a career in physician leadership.

Dr. Hamilton has wide experience in medical practice and administration, having worked as executive director for a large academic physician practice plan affiliated with Loma Linda University School of Medicine; medical director for HMO Georgia, a division of Blue Cross and Blue Shield; Chief Medical Officer of Florida Hospital, an eight-campus, 2,000-bed institution; and as medical consultant to Tennessee’s Medicaid program. Along the way, Dr. Hamilton continued part-time clinical work in various acute care settings.

Community service has been an important part of Dr. Hamilton’s life. He volunteered and served as a board member for organizations providing healthcare services for the homeless and uninsured. Other significant community interests include blood procurement and food provision for the hungry. He is an adjunct professor, having taught graduate-level courses in Healthcare Policy and Administration.

Married, with two daughters and two grandchildren, Dr. Hamilton is active in his local church and enjoys water sports, golf, snow-skiing, and is an avid reader.

Dr. Hamilton is committed to working with hospitals to improve the quality of patient care. His conviction is that physicians who experience deep purpose and meaning in the practice of medicine, and who achieve a wholesome balance between their personal and professional lives, are in the best position to provide quality care and meaningful leadership in our healthcare institutions. Geof cofounded Mercantile and has been doing a little bit of everything since day one. He has years and years (and years and years) of banking experience under his belt, and uses it to help smooth out some of our more difficult (or as he says “creative”) loans and get our clients the financing they need quickly and efficiently. Mostly, he keeps the ship pointed in the right direction. Geof grew up in the Adirondack Mountains of New York. He spends nine weeks each year at his summer home there, but manages to stay plugged in with us between kayak trips. He graduated from Rollins College with his bachelor and MBA degrees, and has taught at the LSU Graduate School of Banking since 1998. Out of the office, Geof is an avid bike rider — paved-trail riding in Florida and mountain biking in the Adirondacks — and loves being with his grandchildren.

John Crossman is President of Crossman & Company, one of the largest retail leasing, management, and investment sales firms in the Southeastern US, with over 28 million square feet of properties located in Florida, Georgia, Alabama, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, Mississippi and Tennessee. Under John’s leadership, alongside his brother Scott, Crossman & Company has been named one of the “Best Places to Work” by Florida Trend magazine.

John has been an active member of ICSC for over 22 years. He has also held either a national, regional or state level ICSC leadership position since 1997, including the ICSC RECon Advisory Board, CRP/CSM Admissions & Governing Committee and a member of the ICSC Foundation Board of Directors. John is Past President of the Central FL Chapter of NAIOP and an executive board member for the UF Bergstrom Center for Real Estate and FSU Center for Real Estate Education. Governor Rick Scott appointed him onto Valencia College's Board of Trustees, and in 2015, presented him with the Governor's Business Ambassador's Award.

As an active speaker and writer, John has been featured in The Wall Street Journal, Forbes.com, Shopping Centers Today, to name a few. He was appointed as an executive member of the DOT by Mayor Buddy Dyer. For the last 6 years, was appointed to the Regional Service Academy Nomination Board for Senator Marco Rubio.

John is nationally known for his passion for diversity and his work with college students. Acting on his passion, John has an endowed student scholarship foundation established at FSU, Florida A&M, and Bethune-Cookman, named after his father, the late Reverend Kenneth C. Crossman.

In his spare time, he is involved with numerous charitable activities and considers his greatest achievement to be the fact that his wife, Angie, agreed to marry him in 1996. They have 2 daughters, Claire & Ava.
