We worship in response to God's words, in community with God's people, by recalling God's works, in view of God's glory, and in anticipation of God's work.

We must surrender our invader self to the love of Christ.

Faith in Jesus Christ gives us existential hope and ability to endure suffering.

We must learn to wait faithfully on God. Even as we struggle and doubt, we should keep pursuing God through the spiritual disciplines because he is the source of all healing and grace.

God says he is working even when we don't see it or understand it. In a real relationship with God through the crucified and risen Jesus, there is going to be tension between what we think and what God says and does.

Habakkuk records his conversation with God and encourages us to take our doubts, struggles, and wounds to Christ who will not turn away any sinner or sufferer.
