Inspired by the iconic poem by Afrikaans poet DJ Opperman, Vuurbees, the Vox Chamber Choir with composer and conductor, Franco Prinsloo, presents this “creative expression of advocacy for environmental protection”.

In our very first sound note, we explore South African Composer and conductor of Vox Chamber Choir, Franco Prinsloo's setting of Afrikaans poet, D.J Opperman poem, Vuurbees. This forms part of a series of short soundclips about the human impact on our planet.
