I learned my biological father's dad passed away and I didn't think it would have affect me like it did. The realization of the opportunity to meet is forever gone now and with that comes sadness.

I noticed that the "first day of school picture" was WAY too much information plastered with a lot of detail, and it made me think about how much we are trusting with how much we put out there.

Birthday Parties can be such a pain in the ass. This year was the first year where we did a "yes birthday" where anything my daughter wanted to do, we said yes. Turns out this was "THE BEST BIRTHDAY EVER" according to my 6-year-old. We typically do the big parties that look like pinterest but this year we ditched the normalcy and tired something outside of the box.

My body and I have this interesting relationship with eachother. I go through moments of hating it, loving it, and also appreciating it. 

I have struggled with my looks for a long time even at times using my body at times to get what I want. It stems from childhood and being sexually abused as a child. 

Part of learning to love myself and finding myself I have to battle this internal battle I have with my relationship with my body. It's one of the things I talk about often on Into the Shadows.
