Then the latest Elite angler at only 19 from Carbondale Illinois won his first Elite tournament and his name young anglers will be yell I want to be like Trey McKinney!!. We did our first interview when he was in high school, I’m very proud of him and you will be also.

He purchased a Canadian Lodge called Stormer Lake Lodge and is living out his dream to leave the big city and move to northern Ontario and make other peoples dreams come true on their trip to Canada just like he did many years ago. Then Dalton Head ,a college angler who qualified for the Red Crest Tournament which is the championship for the Major League Fishing organization next month, well talk about what he did to qualify and how much internal pressure and external pressure he has to deal with on top of fishing against the greatest names in fishing he grew up with.

On this week’s Chauncey's Great Outdoors, we will have Bob Haack from southern Illinois who harvested his deer in the first gun season of Illinois. But what he did after that is the story from tracking the deer, following the trail, to finding it went into the a pond, but as a true sportsman he did not stop until they got the deer out of the water and his brother said oh my look what we have here. It’s a great story about deer hunting and never giving up. Then Steve Ettenger the Executive Director of the Illinois Conservation Foundation will tell us about their big Annual Gala Dinner with auctions and Hall of Fame induction in Glenn Ellyn Illinois on February 22 .
