    On this week’s show we have Chris Jakes who is the Illinois Invasive Species, Wildlife Disease and Large Predator Biologist talking about the cougar that was killed by an automobile on the Kane and Dekalb County line little over a week ago. Then Steve Ettinger the Executive Director of the Illinois Conservation Foundation will tell us about one of my favorite hunts they created called the Directors Hunt which will be held at Jim Edgar Panther Creek State Fish and Wildlife Area on November 29 &29. It’s a fundraiser for the foundation and the best pheasant and quail hunt you will have in Illinois.

    Tim Mondl from the Forest Preserve District of Cook County to talked about all the cool programs there are in the Forest Preserves on the weekend and during the week for young families with kids not in school and the more mature outdoor lovers. Then Gerry Urbanozo, a very good friend of the show was asked to fish the World Black Bass Fishing Tournament and was asked to fish for the country of the Philippines, which he took great pride in.

    On this week’s show we will start off with Mike Angus, from the Chicago Area Mountain Bikers, about the new Bike trail in the Northwest suburbs of the Forest Preserves of Cook County. Then, Capt. Tony will give us a year in review of salmon fishing and what up for next year. Followed by Mike Reynolds, our hunting pro staffer, talking about how to fool the three most important senses of a whitetail deer. In the last segment, we'll have the Aiden fishing report and other outdoor information.

    On this week’s show we will hear from Steve Vandemark, and Jerry Fox JR, who were crowned the Masters Walleye Circuit World Walleye Champions in a tournament that took place in Wisconsin. It was not an easy tournament to win with weather and finicky fish. Following them we will have Jose Guzman who became the first archery deer hunter to harvest a deer in Cook County in over 150 years, WOW! We will hear not so much about the harvest, but the prep work and just being out in nature, very early in the morning. Then in the last segment we'll hear the Aiden Fishing Report from West Michigan and more.

Then, Robert Cartlidge, who is President of the Bass Federation and Walleye Federation, will be talking about the two anglers who were caught trying to cheat in a Lake Erie Walleye Championship and how the checks and balances caught them. But more importantly we are going to talk about all the positive things fishing tournaments do across this country for fishing, charity and more. Then, Steve Silic, head of the Cook County Forest Preserves Fisheries Div, will give us the scoop on the opening of the inland trout season on Oct 15 and what they will be stocking in the six lakes. Then in the last segment, we'll hear the Aiden Fishing Report from west Michigan and more.

    On this week’s show we will hear from Capt. Tony on the dock by his boat on Lake Michigan cause the high waves kept him in for a few days. Then, Roy Domazlicky, a wildlife biologist from the Illinois DNR, will come on to talk to us about all those morning doves we keep missing. We're then going to take a trip to REND Lake and talk to Jennifer Zinzileta, from the Rend Lake Conservancy District, with their Wine and Art Festival next weekend. Then, it’s the first Saturday of the month and Tim Mondl for the Forest Preserve District of Cook County will be coming on to tell us about all the cool fall outdoor programs that are available to the kids, Parents and Grandparents, Aunts and Uncles to come out and enjoy in the Forest Preserve District of Cook County.
