Then, Tim Bischoff, from the Army Corp of Engineers, discusses Rend Lake and the over 1200 fish cribs they have placed and how you can find them and catch more crappie. Then Steve Silic, fish biologist from the Forest Preserve District of Cook County and their walleye program, on Tampier Lake that was just completed. We also have information about the Braidwood Lake Fishing for a Cure and the $10,000 guaranteed prize money for top ten places.

    On this week's show were going to hear from two young high school female anglers Alexis Virgillito and Taylor Bacot who competed against 103 schools and 119 boats and won the State High School Bass Fishing Championship on Caddo Lake, in Louisiana with a 5 fish limit of almost 31 lb total. Then Mike Reynolds will be talking about turkey hunting that begins next week in Illinois and other states. He might even tell some stories from the turkey blind.     On today's show we will have the winner of the Red Crest Tournament Bobby Lane, right after he arrived at the Expo and was all pumped up, then his brother Chris Lane came on for a few minutes and you can hear the love and excitement in his voice. Then the Plainfield South High School Fishing team will be on to talk about their program where they take Vets out for a day of fishing, followed by Tim Mondal from the Forest Preserve Dist of Cook County who will tell us what programs are going this month.

He came in last place, but he is the most gracious and positive guy I have ever met. When you hear him, you will understand why I like him. Then Steve Sillic the fisheries biologist for the Forest Preserve District of Cook County will talk about the opening day of inland trout season April 2.
