On this week’s Chauncey's Great Outdoors, we will have Bob Haack from southern Illinois who harvested his deer in the first gun season of Illinois. But what he did after that is the story from tracking the deer, following the trail, to finding it went into the a pond, but as a true sportsman he did not stop until they got the deer out of the water and his brother said oh my look what we have here. It’s a great story about deer hunting and never giving up. Then Steve Ettenger the Executive Director of the Illinois Conservation Foundation will tell us about their big Annual Gala Dinner with auctions and Hall of Fame induction in Glenn Ellyn Illinois on February 22 .
