Afterwards we get into a discussion about hop latent viroid, and its prevalence in cannabis.  We discuss how hop latent viroid is dealt with in hops, and the implications that would or could have if the same approach is taken with cannabis.  We also discuss methods to cultivate to potentially eliminate coming in contact with hop latent viroid entirely.  The next topic which takes up a majority of the middle to second half of the show is discussing some white papers recently published form university of guelph relating to uv having a negative impact on cannabis growth, cannabinoid production etc. link below to study https://www.frontiersin.org/articles/10.3389/fpls.2021.725078/fullthe american one introduces another white paper that actually implies there is benefits to uv in cannabis: https://citeseerx.ist.psu.edu/viewdoc/download?doi=10.1.1.542.2383&rep=rep1&type=pdf  we discuss. we give some final thoughts and suggestion about implementing uv or using that budget for something else in your grow.  At the end noah thee growa is able to walk through his room and show off his awesome garden, recently switched to all organic. We had suprise guests @chetterbob13  return and lou grown joins @Lougrown from IG for the first time on the panel showing of ABC plant and a recent harvest of Lime-o-rilla bred by Brandon rust.  This week on the show Jack nearly shows up late but manages to get the show live, sharing experiences on impacts of edibles and perception of time, we then get back into growing talk when kyle asks the panel what they think about freezing seeds. This leads to a pretty lengthy discussion many panelist weigh in on. We do a lot of chat Q&A answer questions like how many fans needed in a tent, how does UV impact terpenes, questions related to methods on seed storage like freezing and proper techniques and things to avoid. We discuss how much iron is needed when running high intensity horticultural practices like rust.brandon is doing in his r&d container and at scale in greenhouses and former indoor facilities.  All this an much more this week, tune in to catch all the juicy grow details ;)

After breeding talk we discuss the rise of thc and its relation to modern breeding.  At the 1 hour mark kyle breeder has to leave,  and we open up the zoom call to guest panelist from the chat.  We were quickly joined by @hempwithgg on youtube ig and cocoforcannabis, then shortly after @crackbabiesdwc and @sgt.bone join the panel and share some info about their gardens, show their live plants, and ask questions to the panel. It was another great week with lively discussion start to finish!

Growing with my fellow growers #135: with gnome automatics aka GWMFG #135: with Gnome automatics @Fullduplex_AFN  This week we are joined by a special guest Dan, of Gnome automatics, who can be found on Instagram @fullduplex_AFN or on gnomeautomatics.com for his work. Dan is an excellent breeder, known for his strains "anvil" "alf" and more recently "coal miners daughter" and his genetics have won awards for their quality and ability to produce great flower as well as concentrates.  He is a load of knowledge and it was an absolute pleasure to have him back on the show this week, flying under the new banner Gnome automatics, some may have known dan from the autoflowernetwork going back to 2011, or his prior breeding title Mandalorian Genetics (a name he chose before the show The Mandalorian came to its recent popularity).
