In this week’s episode the “Droogs” dive into the 1971 cult classic A Clockwork Orange. Starring Malcolm McDowell and directed by Stanley Kubrick. They discuss the controversial topics around the movie and how they felt about its portrayal of the dystopian near future. Will they have an appreciation for the operant conditioning or will they succumb to the ultraviolence.

This week's episode has the guys “Mad As Hell” as they dive deep into the 1976 film Network starring Peter Finch and once again Faye Dunaway directed by Sidney Lumet. Having won four Academy Awards the guys talk about why this is considered one of the greatest screenplays in the history of cinema and why it stands up to the test of time, and how it predicted the future of television and media.

This week I think the guys are going to need a bigger boat or… will they brave the water and take a deep dive into the 1975 Steven Spielberg hit JAWS. They stare down the beast and discuss what it took to make this movie and how this movie almost was a complete failure. The dynamics between the characters, the influence the iconic score has on the movie, and also why it became so popular in pop culture.
