Nerds of Pray is the podcast where Nerd Pastor Nathan Webb of Checkpoint Church sits down with some of the leading people in the realm of Nerd/Pop Culture Ministry. He asks them questions about their specific venture into the ministry, as well as what first led them to the intersection of faith and fandom.  

In this inaugural episode, Nathan sits down with Derek White, A.K.A. the Geekpreacher, to discuss his role as the Chaplain of the GaryCon Convention and his role as a minister to both nerds and lay people. They also discuss Derek's relationship with the late Gary Gygax, the co-founder of Dungeons & Dragons.

We watched Pixar's newest movie Luca and loved it! All of the characters have a story to tell, but one character goes through something that we can relate to as Christians - or even just as people.
