Cheesesteak and Chowder

We kick things off with some live podding from the PNC Arena where we took in the debut of the Hurricanes "throwback" Hartford Whalers sweaters, complete with "Brass Bonanza" pumping over the PA as they threw down with Jason's Boston Bruins. Later in the summit lodge, interim producer @theHunterGames brings us some eerily familiar beer in Pappy's Products and we discuss a few wraps to 2018 and upcoming thoughts for 2019.

It's a quick, mini-episode for Halloween and we're in the spirit with our fan-voted prime costumes, Hall & Oates, C&C style, one on one and making your dreams come true! Jason recaps the joys of the Red Sox winning another World Series while Anthony and producer @HunterGames just have to sit and take it. We also premiere the first behind the curtain test run of the C&C video feed. Cheers!

We dig into the gmail bag this week in the long-awaited return of "potentially authentic emails" including one from loyal listener Vlad P. in the CCCP (8:02). Reese's gets a call out this week (12:22) and we discuss surprise parties and gender reveal parties in this week's "Why R U Still in My Life?" (18:35). We bring you another edition of our fall TV pitch sessions - C&C style (27:09) where we run through a list of upcoming new TV shows by title, and try to predict what the premise should be. Then we dip into an offshoot game of "Revive, Remake, Reject" where Jason gives Anthony a variety of old TV shows and he has to guess if they are getting "Revived" with the old cast, "Remade" with a new cast, or if they are "Rejects" aka, Jason's red herrings. Mountain Dew gets called out and we preview our next fantasy draft and our upcoming 100th epsiode!

We finally made it to Paisan's - our namesake ristorante! The fine paisans at Paisan's welcomed us like family as we broke bread and podded live from the end of the bar like Norm and Cliff. This special on-location episode has a bit of everything, including some NHL playoffs talk (Jason wonders why Claude Julien is still in his life?), an imagining of Johnny Cochran on Twitter during the OJ Trial, a Mt. Rushmore of Italian food and of course us stuffing our faces with some of the best cuisine, cannoli and chianti this side of the Mason-Dixon line. Cin cin!

It didn't take long for us to get the draft pack back in studio to pump out a sequel to our Rock Super Groups Fantasy Draft. The follow-up? -- we put on our TV Network Executive hats this time and draft our all-time prime time lineup, followed, of course, by hearty debate over who's "roster" has the best comedies, dramas, reality shows, late-night and yes, even game shows! But before we get to the draft goodness (complete with theme songs!) at the (22:40) mark, we serve up a little appetizer beforehand with the Good Thins sequel in Pappy's Products along with a couple sides of "Why are You Still in My LIfe?" #powerhouse
