On April 15th, 2012, 15-year-old Chelsea Johnson was found brutally stabbed to death in a shallow creek near the apartment she shared with her mother in Fairfield, Ohio. The crime scene, compromised by water and exposure, offered little in the way of physical evidence. With mounting public pressure and no clear suspect, investigators quickly arrested a local man, but the arrest lacked solid evidence, and charges were later dropped. Over a decade has passed, and the case remains unsolved. Chelsea’s family is still left with more questions than answers.
