  • #78 "Can a Butterfly do THAT?"

In 1963 Edward Lorenz came up with an idea that would later be labeled, The Butterfly Effect. In essence, he posed the question can something small ever cause something greater to happen. In other words, can the flapping of a butterfly's wing cause a tornado in Texas. Well, I don't know if that is true or not, but I do know that there is a definite "Butterfly Effect" in the life of Christian Men. Let's talk about that here on Chewing The Frat.

  • #77 "Building Bridges"

There are some pretty impressive bridges in the world today. From the London Bridge to the Golden Gate Bridge, bridges are a major part of our lives. At times, we all have relationships that are fractured and there is a huge cavern between us and the people that we care about. It is at that moment that we MUST begin to build a bridge. Let's talk about bridge building here on Chewing the Frat.

  • #75 "Things that you believed but are NOT true."

I really did believe that if you find a baby bird, you should NOT touch it and put it back into the nest because the Mother bird would not have anything to do with the baby. Guess, what. It is NOT true. We believe things that are not true. Let's talk about that right here on Chewing the Frat.

  • #74 "Even if I don't understand it that does not change its power"

I do not understand things such as dark matter, cold fusion, a black hole or even The Placebo Effect or Ultra Violet Cosmic rays. At times I meet me who do not understand the process of Salvation as well. The good news today is that even if you don't fully understand it, Salvation is still as real and powerful and available to you. Let's talk about that right her on chewing the frat.

  • #72 "How we go from a Dynamo to a Dud!"

Life hacks are things that make our lives much easier. I learned a "life hack" today that had a very spiritual lesson for me. It was a lesson that I am sure that Peter eventually learned in his life

  • "71 "It is NOT Rocket Science if you want to change."

In the 1950's, America was a powerhouse when it came to developing rockets. Some of the early "Rocket Scientist" were actually from Germany. The phrase was used by JFK in the 1960's and it made it's way to the game of football in 1980's. It means that something is not as difficult as we think. It would be what Paul the Apostle would say if we ask him how we can change things in our lives like he did in 1 Timothy Chapter 1. Let's talk about that here on Chewing the Frat.

  • #70 "Just when you thought it was out of style, It is coming Back"

I found out today that all of the "junk" that I have been throwing away is being "renewed" and making a comeback. Everything from Polaroid Instant Cameras to Vinyl Records. Sometimes in our lives we need to have our lives and spirits renewed. Lamentations Chapter 3 speaks to us about that today on Chewing the Frat.

  • #69 "Expectations"

As I was growing up, my Mom and Dad had expectations of me that influenced my life, my thoughts and the way I am today. Expectations in our lives as adults will impact how we live our life. Let's look at three areas of expectations that play a part of our future here on Chewing The Frat.

  • #68 "Heavenly Cheerleaders"

Cheerleading’s roots are closely tied to American football’s. The first intercollegiate game was played in 1869, between Princeton University and Rutgers University in New Jersey, and by the 1880s, Princeton had formed an all-male pep club. A graduate of Princeton, Thomas Peebles, took the Princeton cheers to the University of Minnesota, where football and fight songs were becoming very popular. We as men today have a "Heavenly" Cheerleading squad that is cheering for us. What are they saying? Let's talk about that on Chewing the Frat.
