THE FINAL CFP RANKINGS HAVE DROPPED, CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIP WEEKEND HAS ENDED. In this special episode of CCT we recapped some scores and stats from Washington's 2nd W over Oregon this year, the Tide rolling in Atlanta, and FSU inking out a win over Louisville. Next we mentioned the results of the other conference championships and the final rankings of the CFP poll. We discussed, dissected, and heard arguments on both sides of the aisle on the Bama vs FSU (playoff robbery). After we mentioned some of the "playoff snubs" throughout the years, the Heisman finalists, as well as a new proposal for schools to directly pay college athletes. The transfer portal made its return with record numbers and big names hitting it day 1, along with some scheduling news for the lonesome PAC 2. Last but not least we divulged and highlighted the FCS, D2, and D3 playoffs followed by the Games of the Week and Chew's picks vs the AI's.
Ladies and Gentlemen, Boys and Girls of all ages, the CFB regular season has come to a close! It is now Conference Championship Weekend! Today we recapped some of the games from rivalry weekend and went around the world of CFB with victories coming for Michigan 3 years straight in THE GAME, Ole Miss with an Egg Bowl W, Kentucky shocking Louisville, Utah St in a 4OT thrilling W, and much more. In our news segment we highlighted the end of the SEC on CBS and Pac-12 after this weekend, the last CFP ranking before Selection Sunday, my Heisman trophy finalists, and a return of the ever-changing and raucous Coaching Carousel. Last but not least we had our Games of the Week including my picks vs the AI's as well as my playoff predictions.
Happy Thanksgiving to all! THE LAST WEEKEND OF THE REGULAR SEASON IS HERE!!!!! Rivalry weekend is upon us. We kicked off today's episode with stats and scores from last weekend's games as well as our Close W's and Notable L's segment. There were some soundbites from Coach Prime learning geography, Sam Hartman as a 1 year rental, and a little insight on the Yale vs Harvard rivalry. In our CFB News segment we highlighted the fight for postseason play by JMU, Jacksonville St, and Tarleton St, Dino Babers fired from Cuse, UGA's historic run, and the WWE in cfb. We then took a deep dive to highlight more of the Michigan saga as well as a look into the biggest game of the year between Ohio St and Michigan. Last but not least, we discussed the games of the week followed by my picks and the AI bot's picks.
WE ARE BACK AND LIVE WITH CCT!!! Another weekend of college football is here. First we must pay our respects to the games of week's past and to the victors go the spoils. We also took a spin to recall some of the scores from around the sport with UCF thrashing Oklahoma State, UNC edging out Duke in OT, Illinois beating Indiana in a border state rivalry, and much more. Our thoughts on the continuation of the Michigan cheating saga as new information comes to light; next we realized that getting fired as a head coach is all too common and very lucrative (p.s. ask Jimbo Fisher). We highlighted some stand-out ballers from the past week and then gave my 2 cents on the playoff picture and what madness could occur.
