WELCOME BACK EVERYONE! CCT is up and live with some offseason news and excitement! Tons of coaching hires and stops on the coaching carousel including Josh Heupel getting the bag, Harbaugh back in Ann Arbor next season, etc. More transfer portal craze, draft buzz, and player news with Stroud and Ringo declaring, while Taulia Tagovailoa and Tommy Eichenberg are running it back for another year; and of course the Mailman getting busted in Dallas. On a more serious note, wishing nothing but love, prayers, and well wishes to Athens, GA and the Dawgs with the deaths of Devin Willock and Chandler Leroy; they will both be missed dearly. We also recapped some NIL inspirations and blunders: including the $1.3 million asked at Bama and the Jaden Rashada fallout. Additionally we discussed the buzz in Boulder with Primetime Deion Sanders flipping another #1 CB recruit, his year ahead, and the Bethune Cookman saga with Ed Reed. Last but not least we recapped that this upcoming 2023-2024 college football season will be the last of an era before major overhauls dealing in playoff format, conference alignment, and most of all new network deals!

ALL GOOD THINGS MUST COME TO AN END! The college football season has concluded with the FCS National Championship this past Sunday and the FBS National Championship this past Monday night. Hats off to both the South Dakota State Jackrabbits and the Georgia Bulldogs on their victories. An absolute dominant showing by both teams, SDST with their first natty in program history and Georgia capping off a historic run with back to back national championships. We discussed some of the records and stats put up by Georgia this season and in the game, what a Cinderella story for Stetson Bennett and what Georgia has accomplished in the past 2 seasons. We also paid our respects to the Horned Frogs and Max Duggan and the historic season for TCU and the personal adversities and accomplishments in his career. In our college football news segment we mentioned NFL rumors and NCAA violations for Jim Harbaugh, transfer portal and some key players returning next year, General Booty and his NIL deal, the absolute dominance of the SEC for the past 17 years, and much more. Lastly we recapped how I did with my Bowl Game picks and Weekly picks throughout the year with some totals and percentages.

BOWL GAME MANIA HAS COME AND GONE! We discussed the playoff semi-final games and Tulane's big W over USC in the Cotton Bowl. With part of our Bowl Game recap we mentioned Tennessee defeating Clemson in the Orange Bowl, Iowa shutting out Kentucky in the Music City Bowl, Penn State with a dominant Rose Bowl victory and more. Jumping into our College Football News segment, we corrected some of the things I mentioned last week with a recap of the Big 12's playoff appearances and Ws, how the new 12 team playoff will be structured, a look into what teams by conference have made the playoff, their wins, and the different champs throughout the years, we divulged into the transfer portal once again and the potential of Jim Harbaugh going back to the NFL. Lastly we outlined the National Championship Game for this Monday night followed by my pick!
WHAT AN ELECTRIC CALL IN EPISODE TODAY! This week we discussed some of the prior week's bowl games including Middle Tennessee edging out San Diego State in the Hawaii Bowl and the battle between Kansas and Arkansas in the Liberty Bowl. With some scores we recapped a few of the many bowls including the Buffalo Bulls ending their season with a bowl victory over Georgia Southern, Duke with a stunning W over UCF, Texas Tech University with an absolute stomping of Ole Miss, and much more. In our college football news we dove into some of Dabo's thoughts on NIL and Clemson, the Austin Aune story, UTEP basketball coach Joe Golding and the selfless caring act of helping 3 Pitt players this past week, Florida's DL Chris McClellan's thoughts on players transferring out and Billy Napier's vision going forward, etc. We then ran through the remaining bowl games up until Jan 2nd followed by my picks! In true podcast fashion we had our "Call In" segment from many avid fans and friends of the pod. Much love and thanks to those who dialed in and listened in to CCT! Hope everyone loves it!
BOWL GAME MANIA IS IN FULL SWING! We started off by discussing some of the prior week's bowl games including UAB W over Miami (OH) and Troy outlasting UTSA for their bowl victory. With some other bowl game scores we highlighted Southern Miss's romping of Rice, BYU edging out a thriller over SMU, Marshall with a victory over UCONN, etc. In our CFB News segment we dove in to mention some of the landing places of some transfer QBs, those players opting in and out of bowl games, going to the draft or returning to their respective college/university for another year. We mentioned Oregon TE Cam McCormick and his supa-supa-supa senior eligibility, Miami (OH) honoring Mike Leach on their helmets, additionally one of his kind-hearted acts before his passing. The record breaking performance by Frank Gore Jr and an uproar involving military servicemen and women over potential professional sports opportunity before required service. Last but not least we talked about our bowl games of the week along with my picks for each!
Welcome back to another episode of CCT! This week we recapped America's game and Army's OT win over Navy. A heavy and thorough dosage of college football news including a ASUN-WAC football only conference on the horizon, RIP Mike Leach wishing his family condolences followed by a little tribute to one of the most iconic CFB personalities, Caleb Williams taking home the Heisman Trophy and other CFB awards, a history lesson on the Army-Navy Rivalry, and much, much more. Last but not least, we prefaced bowl mania and the first 10 of 41 total bowl games to roll through in the next coming weeks along with my picks!

CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIP WEEKEND HAS COME AND GONE! We dove into USC stunning loss in the PAC 12 Championship to the Utah Utes, TCU losing a heartbreaker in OT, and the Green Wave of Tulane winning the AAC Championship. With our Close Ws and Notable Ls we discussed the Buffalo Bulls pull a nail-biter over Akron 23-22 to go bowling this year, Fresno State upset Boise State in the Mountain West Championship, the Dawgs take care of LSU and wrap up their regular season with an SEC championship, etc. NEWS FLASH: 1st CFP without Alabama or Clemson, a sneak peak at Army's uniforms for this Saturdays game against Navy, the continual transfer portal chaos, Primetime Deion Sanders taking his talents to Boulder Colorado, the coaching carousel on overdrive, Will Rogers an absolute class-act again, and much more. I held myself accountable and recapped my playoff and conference championship predictions set from earlier this year to what actually transpired. As always we had our game of the week followed by my singular pick for America's Game. Last but not least we discussed the heisman finalists and the frauds of the bunch.
WHAT A WAY TO END THE REGULAR SEASON! We jumped right into today's episode with a breakdown of "THE GAME" between Ohio State and Michigan, an Egg Bowl for the ages, and the 2 OT Battle for North Carolina. With our Close Ws and Notable Ls we mentioned Tulane squeezing one out over Cincinnati, FSU getting a huge W over bitter rival Florida, the Gamecocks stunning Clemson at home, Kent State pulling a W over Buffalo in OT, etc. With our segment of College Football News today it was a heavy diet of coaching carousel with hirings, firings, and people getting arrested all across the landscape. We also jumped in a little bit on the transfer portal and ruckus in that area. The most important thing was news for the CFP EXPANSION TO 12 TEAMS now happening in the 2024-2025 Season; 2 years ahead of when the current contract would run out. Last but not least we concluded with our games of the week for CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIP WEEKEND with picks from yours truly!

A VERY SPECIAL EDITION OF CCT THIS WEEK! In this episode we highlighted the nail-biter between TCU and Baylor, the Battle of LA between UCLA and USC, and Oklahoma vs Oklahoma State. With our Close Ws and Notable Ls we discussed Tennessee falling to the Gamecocks in Columbia, Western Michigan defeating Central Michigan in a snowstorm, Vanderbilt getting its back to back SEC victory by stunning the Gators, etc. With our breaking college football news we mentioned the SEC looking to move to 1 division going forward, UVA running back Mike Hollins and his heroics during the tragic shooting at UVA, the FCS playoffs and championship game, a potential out for Texas A&M if they look to can Jimbo Fisher, a little deep dive into Ohio State vs Michigan rivalry dealing with the stickers and the meaning behind them, and much much more. As always we had some of our games of the week for rivalry weekend, the last week of college football before conference championship weekend followed by yours truly Chew's picks. LAST BUT NOT LEAST, WHAT WE HAVE ALL BEEN WAITING FOR, THE INTERVIEW SESSIONS WITH SOME OF CLEMSON'S STUDENT BODY.

Another week of college football has past us, this episode we highlighted the game between UCF and Tulane, the Big 12 brawl between TCU and Texas, and a PAC-12 heavyweight brawl of Washington vs Oregon. Next with our Close Ws and Notable Ls we mentioned Northern Illinois squeak out a close one over Western Michigan, USC absolutely slaughter the buffalos of Colorado, LSU pulling out a win 13-10 over Arkansas in a frigid thriller, etc. In the wild world of CFB news we elaborated on Marshall honoring the 75 people who died in the 1970 plane crash, Vanderbilt snapping their 26 straight conference losing streak in the SEC with an upset of Kentucky, the horrible tragedy and shooting at the University of Virginia this past Sunday. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the families, university, and community and wish them strength and coming together. Lastly we had our games of the week followed by yours truly Chew's picks!
