Jarod Facknitz and Erin Flynn have created very unique Puppet Show called How Do We Sing. Jarod has been on the Podcast show before and when he called me about this show I didn't quite know what to expect but his previous show was amazing, so I figured what the heck, they are obviously very creative, so let's record a Puppet show.

Chicago Singer/Songwriter, Dave Tamkin, currently resides in Boulder, CO. He has created his own unique style of rhythmic- acoustic rock that's based around a fresh musical vision. His shows vary from intimate solo acoustic performances to a full band experience encapsulating a mixture of personal lyrics and skilled songwriting set against a high-energy percussive backbone.

The genre-bending, multi-instrumentalist songwriting duo Frances Luke Accord (Brian Powers and Nicholas Gunty) are changing the dynamic of Chicago's folk scene one DIY venture at a time. From their debut project, the non-profit benefit record Kandote, to their house-concert/video series Fluke Takes, FLA have grounded themselves beyond any ordinary indie-folk band.

Ask Your Folks is a Chicago-based trio comprised of vocals, guitar, fiddle, and string bass. Owen Burton (guitar), Libby Weitnauer (fiddle), and Eli Broxham (bass), began playing together during their freshman year as music students at DePaul University. In August of 2013 they started playing at local farmer's markets and formed Ask Your Folks. Since their founding they have done a southern tour, released their debut album, and played in countless venues around Chicago.

A native of the Missouri Ozarks, Jodee Lewis was raised on folk songs and honky-tonk, and her music reflects the best of both worlds. The Chicago Tribune says she is "a singer-songwriter whose outsized talent is as big as her voice," and calls her first album, Whiskey Halo, an "impressive solo debut".

Adam McDonough grew up in the little beach town of Cape May, NJ. After graduating Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA, Adam quickly made his way working the music industry building his chops and honing the business skills playing the cover band scene and collaborating as much as possible. His influences include artists such as Tom Petty, Stevie Wonder, Bob Marley, Jackson Browne, and Paul Simon to name a few.

Brooklyn based husband wife duo Jillian Speece and Nathaniel Paul Hoff are The Bergamot. This is their second performance on Chicago Acoustic Underground. Since their first Podcast back in 2012,

Last August, from Louisville, Kentucky into the studio comes Ted Stevens. My first take was here's a Rocker dressed up and ready to take the stage. I thought, this is gonna be fun, and I was not disappointed. Ted, the leader of "Ted Stevens and the Third Rail", just had that look where if you saw him walking down the street you'd say to yourself "that guy has to be a rock star". Well, guess what, you would be right with one exception, he is not an asshole.

Originally from Clayton, Missouri, now hailing from Toronto, Canada Matt Morgan came into the studio sans his band Matt Morgan The Mayday. He proceeded to demonstrate his songwriting and singing skills, and they are formidable. We hope to bring Matt and his band down to Chicago this summer. In the meantime, enjoy this Man's music.

Sam Luna, Born on the Navajo Reservation in Tuba City, AZ. Started making art from a young age. Picked up the guitar at age 23 and has not put it down since. He has spent the last ten years touring the states sharing his art and music everywhere he goes. Recorded his debut album in the Midwest with the help of the amazing musicians he met along his journey. Sam Luna and his band are currently working on their sophomore album due out mid 2015.
