As if we weren’t dirty enough: the ladies review the Hulu documentary, Naughty Books. The film showcases the boom and decline of the smut (aka Erotica) market after the publication of 50 Shades of Gray. The doc follows three authors for a number of years and showcases the struggle many find in having to constantly create new content. The ladies discuss their aversion to 5sog and why some things are better if they just stay on Wattpad. Also, they petition for a documentary just on the marriages of the three authors because...fascinating.

Veronica and Rae fangirl it up hardcore on this episode. The ladies discuss the newest release from Mariana Zapata, All Rhodes Lead Here. In true Zapata fashion, we have a slow burn romance between free spirit songwriter Aurora and deliciously gruff and moody game warden Tobias (Tobers) Rhodes. Veronica and Rae finished this book in record time, so you can imagine that it’s a total 10/10, hands down (pun intended). The ladies discuss their amazing moms, the little bits of adulting that we encounter every so often, Drew #Ruinmeforallmen, and swoon over topping 1K listens, b*tches!

We’ve got company! On this episode, Rae and Veronica invite their very special friend Lee to join in on the discussion of Boyfriend Material by Alexis Hall. All three hosts wax poetic about the amazingness that is Oliver Blackwood and his delicious V-cut. We play a game of ‘two truths and a lie” that involves seriously sexy times, discover what exactly a gallic shrug is, and Rae insults the entire country of Scotland with her attempt at a Scottish brogue. As per usual, we discuss any upcoming America’s Ass news. Disclaimer: Rae had many glasses of wine and very little food...so enjoy.

We’re finishing up the Christmas Passionflix Shorts this week! You’re getting three mini reviews for the price of one -- and that cost is free! We never thought the term EAD would be brought up as a plot point in a review, but apparently, we’ve reached the pinnacle of meta. The ladies discuss Superman, ugly dress shirts, and what exactly are the lyrics to ‘Levitating’. The three short films are all directed by Louise Alton. Baby on Board, dear listener! We are reviewing Chelle Sloan’s latest book, Off Track. For small town girl Bethany and commitment-phobe Davis, an unexpected pregnancy will either make or break the fledgling couple. When it comes to babies, nothing seems to go to plan. Veronica regails Rae with vivid tales of childbirth and Rae is extremely happy to only have Shiba Inu’s. Obligatory America’s Ass reference, the podcast is now fully vaccinated, and Rae has an unhealthy obsession with Ted Lasso and Jason Sudekis’ mustache.

We’re hitting you with a two-fer this week! Rae reviews 2 Passionflix original shorts for this latest installment of P2S. We start with The Naughty List adapted from the short story by Emma Chase, which was released to Passionflix last year with a myriad of Christmas themed short films. The second selection is Dry Spell, based on a short story by Vi Keeland. Both entries confused poor Rae’s loins: should they be burning or not? Was she going to be viewing porn for the podcast? Also, what does Veronica deem “Hot. Hotter. Hottest”? You’ll have to listen to find out!

Dry Spell, by Vi Keeland here (will be a Book Funnel download)

This week Veronica and Rae were lucky enough to receive an ARC of Tracie Banister’s new book, Straight from the Hart. Vanessa Hart is the premiere romance concierge to the stars but has she given up her heart for the bottom line? Will she find love again with her former flame or settle down with the sexy man who gives Idris Elba a run for his money? The ladies discuss A-Rod’s social media crime, getting bench pressed by Henry Cavill, and Rae proves she’s a total hypocrite. Also, for the 9th episode in a row, Chris Evans and America’s A** are discussed in detail.
To purchase Straight from the Hart, please visit Amazon or inquire at your local bookstore.

With beautiful prose and more than a little bit of angst, the girls highly recommend this sophomore effort. Between a conversation about America’s ass, why everyone needs therapy, and the discovery of their male podcasting counterparts, Veronica and Rae have a blast discussing this very sultry and sexy book. To purchase Beneath the Stands please visit Amazon or inquire at your local bookstore.
