The Chats are based in Brisbane Australia and formed during their high school days.  They have toured America, and Europe, playing Reading and Leeds festivals.  They unfortunately had to cancel US tour dates for 2020 but are beginning to tour in their native country and we hope to see them here as soon as possible.

We're totally thrilled to have one of ATX's BBQ icons, and recovering musician, Aaron Franklin on the program.

Aaron Franklin is widely regarded as one of the most influential pitmasters in the U.S. He received the James Beard Foundation Award for Best Chef: Southwest in 2015. Popular and critically lauded restaurant, Franklin Barbecue, was awarded Texas Monthly’s coveted Best Barbecue Joint in Texas, and Bon Appetit’s Best Barbecue Joint in America.

On the program this week: Enoch Doyle Jeter, co-founder/former co-owner of Enoch’s in Monroe, LA. Doyle and his wife Yvette started Enoch’s, a renowned venue/pub/cafe with incarnations in Monroe and Shreveport. The Jeters started Enoch’s in 1980 in Monroe, and are still operating as an Irish/Cajun Pub with their son John taking ownership a year ago.

Garrick Baskerville is the founder of Metsi Care, a Direct Primary Care medical practice in Austin that caters foremost to artists, musicians, service industry workers and workers in startups. Dr, Baskerville changed focus from a career in the arts to a medical career in his teens after the loss of his father from cancer.

Ian MacDougall is the frontman for Broken Gold, and plays guitar for renowned punk rockers, Riverboat Gamblers (one of the USA's most exciting live bands).  Ian also joined Band of Horses as a touring member and is now a full time member.  If that wasn't enough, Ian also did road management work for the Foo Fighters, and teaches guitar lessons virtually for Austin's School of Rock.
