Our wrestlers competed at the Sand Springs Tournament the past weekend where we have two Chieftain wrestler places JJ Long placing 3rd and Parker Lecoq placing 4th great job boy!Also are varsity Basketball teams travel to Muskogee today and then Shawnee Thursday to Saturday in the Shawnee invitationals good luck everyone now onto the weather.

For are weather today its gonna a high of 45 and a low of 33 with this weather yall sometimes i just wish i was living on the sun.

Seniors; today is the last day to turn in your senior pictures for the yearbook

Sophomores will be visiting Central Tech January 30th, and permission slips are due Tuesday, January 21st. So make sure to get them signed and turned into your English teachers

Today is the last day to sign up for the February 8th ACT

There’s a Chieftain Lap Quilt on display in the 400 hallway display case, and it will be on display until the end of the day. If you would like to purchase a chance to win this quilt, there are $1 raffle tickets being sold in the attendance office
Funds from the tickets sold will be going to help a Sapulpa student

Don’t forget that we don’t have school Monday due to Martin Luther King Jr. day

It was a great weekend for our JH wrestling and girls basketball teams!!

The JH wrestling team won the Glenpool Dual Tournament, going 8-0 on the weekend beating Glenpool, Sand Springs, Owasso, Catoosa, Cascia Hall, Claremore, Oologah, and Jenks. Congrats to Bryson Williams, Ethan Peterson, and Cooper Thomas who didn’t lose a single match through the tournament! The JH wrestling team remains undefeated on the season!! Great job, Coach Fuller and Coach Carter!!

The Lady Chieftain basketball team went 3-0 in the Skiatook tournament beating Tulsa Webster, Pryor, and Mustang to bring home the tournament championship! Temira Poindexter was named tournament MVP, Ray Osborn was selected to the all tournament team, and Coach Calip was selected as the girls coach of the tournament!! Great job, ladies!!!This Tuesday, the Chieftains will be taking on Jenks in hoops action at the Chieftain Center. It will be military appreciation night and all military personnel will be admitted free to the game (with ID). The theme is, "USA", some come decked out in your most patriotic attire! Please feel free to share the attached flyer to spread the word. Also, our awesome ROTC program will be performing at halftime of the girls game, which you don't want to miss!

Coach Blevins and the wrestling team will be traveling to Sand Springs at the end of the week to compete in their tournament. Good luck, all!!

Lastly, the Chieftain gear online store is back up and running!! Orders can be placed through January 26. Indian Ed will be having a meeting Wednesday make sure to stop by the indian ed room

Good morning Sapulpa! It’s the first Monday with Miklos of 2020 and let’s get it started on a high note!
Sapulpa recently beat Pryor 65-27 in wrestling, and the girls basketball team beat Mustang on Saturday with a score of 59-52!
There is also a basketball game at 6:30 Tuesday with the theme being Military Night.
The spirit store is also up and running again! Orders can be placed through January 26th, for more info make sure to ask Mr. Rose or Sally in the athletic office.
Don’t forget there is going to be a canned food drive January 13-17th!

Today is the beginning of the Skiatook Basketball Tournament, at Skiatook Highschool beginning at 1 and 4pm. There are also games tomorrow.
There is also a wrestling match in Glenpool today beginning at noon

It’s the 2nd day back at school. I hope everyone's enjoying their classes. Today is the last day to retake finals if you need to retake a final you have missed come by Mrs Kearneys room after school.Reminder the last day to sign up for the February ACT test is this Friday the 10th.Today is also re-orientation for the juniors during 5th hour. Tonight there is a basketball game Vs Owasso at home with JV at 4, girls' varsity at 6:30, and boys’ varsity at 8:00.I hope to see y’all there at the games.



Now for the weather today. I’m not reading it off. We have a new member in the Chieftain Podcast team and he will be helping me on Tuesdays take away Ty. Thank you Jacob, for today's weather it will be a little chilly at a high of 60 and a low of 34, but that's a lot better than its been recently, and for that I'm thankful.

Chieftains are in action Tuesday night at home against Owasso.

A little cool this morning, but should warm up to about 55 this afternoon, a bright sunny day for the start of a new year.
