A tough loss for Chieftain Football, losing to Ponca City, 20-21. But the Chieftains are heading to the playoffs against first round opponent Stillwater.

Today is Veterans Day, a day to remember those who have sacrificed part, or even all, of their lives for this country. Chieftain Podcast Reporter Jacob, recently spoke with a few Sapulpa alumni who are also distinguished veterans.

The Chieftain FanWear will be ending today

The Late registration for ACT is ending today with higher price fees.
ACT offers a better chance for a scholarship while also being required for entrance. If you can’t afford it for $52 then you have a chance to get a waiver if you get discounted lunch. It’s recommended to take as many as you can seeing that colleges will look at your highest score.

Fall sports are coming to an end but winter sports are just around the corner.

During the weekend we had a strong outcome for cross country with our girls team placing 5th and Stailee Heard place 3rd individually. Evan and Mason Quinton set new personal records as well.

Also a good job to chieftain football for defeating the Highway 97 Rival, Sandsprings, 31-19! Quick reminder that the 8th and 9th grade game that got cancelled is rescheduled for tomorrow.

Lastly there’s a Jv football game at SandSprings at 6pm.

Today during 7th hour, we’re having a pep rally for our rivalry football game tonight against Sand Springs

Sports
Tonight’s varsity football game will start at 7pm, at home, against the Sand Springs Sandites.
And it’s senior night Chieftains, so if you have your student ID, you can get into the game for $1!
The theme for the game is “Senioritis leads to arthritis”, so make sure to raid your grandparent’s closets!

Tomorrow is the kick-off of the basketball pre-season, with four scrimmages at John Marshall High school, beginning at 2:30pm

Today’s going to be a warmer day, with a high of 60 degrees, and still a chilly night with a low of 33 degrees
