In the ever-changing world of business and branding, some unconventional perspectives can lead to quite a breakthrough. As entrepreneurs, we often find ourselves challenging the status quo to discover new paths to success but most of the time, we learn from our own experience.
In this episode, l share five unpopular opinions on building brands that go against conventional wisdom, inspiring you to think differently about your brand's growth with a few examples of my own personal experience. I have done it the opposite way to most entrepreneurs where my personal brand opened unexpected doors however, it works both ways.
This week I am celebrating me for being booked and busy!!
However… being booked and busy means that I have no choice but to pivot if I am going to avoid burnout. In this week's episode of the Chik Chat podcast, I talk about some of the feelings of guilt and failure that have come with where I currently am in business and how I’m tackling it.
This week on the Chik Chat podcast, I discuss how I found myself caught up in a fascinating debate about black women's hair and interracial relationships. It got me thinking about the incredible black women I know across the UK that are family/friends and how exhausting it can be trying to find your way. Let's be real though, some folks seriously need to mind their own business! Join me as I dive into this topic close to my heart, where it all began, and share my views. It's time to stop policing black women for simply being themselves. Don't miss this episode – it's about to get real, relatable, and downright empowering!
In this classic episode, I introduce you to Josh Keegan, the lifestyle entrepreneur! I met Josh through one of my clients when I started working on his personal brand and content. In this podcast we talk about mindset, making money in business, and being kinder to yourself and others. It was a chat I definitely needed!

For a long time, I was angry about having to deal with and heal from issues that weren’t my fault and if I’m being honest, I got caught up in being the victim.
It recently dawned on me that whether I like it or not, my strengths come from some terrible situations and that’s exactly how I’m building a brand and businesses that are so authentically me, they’re drawing in the right types of clients and brands.
In this week's episode of the Chik Chat podcast I talk about my mindset shift from victim to victor.
I hope you enjoy!
A year ago I nearly cancelled on meeting what would be a man I love and adore beyond expression. My road to ending a long-term relationship and getting back to dating was hard for many reasons such as feeling like I was running out of time or like I’d made a mistake but ultimately, I was just opening the door for more of what I thought I’d lost.
In this episode of the Chik Chat podcast, I talk about G and give my top three dating tips for anyone out there wanting to take the leap.
I hope you enjoy!
Food is more than just taste to me. It's a reflection of culture, love, and stories colliding. Most people are shocked when they hear that my dad, brother, and G are the chefs in our households and honestly, the conversations it starts can be interesting.
As I start to marry my love of food with the podcast and roots, I chat to G about what food has meant to us as we’ve been introduced to each other's family and the dream to one day have our own food and travel show.
In this week's episode of the Chik Chat podcast, I am joined by G and a very special guest who was recording us for a TV show we’ll be on next year!
I hope you enjoy.
I’m at the healing stage where I’m genuinely confused.
I recently noticed I’m at the stage of healing where I’m both confused, dealing with business challenges quite well and, loving life so in this week's episode of the Chik Chat podcast, I share what the healing journey looks like from this end-of-life.
A gentle reminder that healing is very much a process and if you’re watching/listening for the first time, you might want to catch up on previous episodes where I share the challenges I’ve faced in depth and whilst I’ve been going through it.
I hope you enjoy!
In this week’s episode of the Chik Chat Podcast, I am joined by G to announce some very exciting news! Without spoiling too much, all I’ll say is that we’re really excited about what’s to come personally and professionally for us both - it’s certainly not where either of us thought we were going to be a year ago however, it’s exciting that you get to come along for the ride.
Recently I’ve found myself having conversations with friends, family, and clients about finding your purpose, about how tired everyone seems to be feeling, and the fact that in a capitalist world where we don’t seem to have too much control over what’s going on, it is really hard to follow your passions and turn that into something that makes you want to get up in the morning.
So in this week's episode of the Chik Chat Podcast, I talk about some of the tips and tricks that I’ve found have really helped me over the last couple of years to get to a position where I love what I do more than anything in the world!
