Each episode is a chapter read by the author from a diary written back in 2003. Month by month, diary entries will be released roughly twenty years after the events of 2003 occurred.

In this introductory episode, on a night of fearful loneliness and desperation brought on by a marriage breakdown, the author books a prostitute for the first time.
