China and Australia continue to have a frosty relationship. Ever since Australia took sides with other global powerhouses and stood up to China, things haven't been the same.

This week, Chinese President Xi Jinping appealed to world leaders to scrap the "cold war mentality" which seems a bit rich coming from one of the most dominant world leaders around.
