Chandrashekhara Ashtakam - Verse 3
I seek refuge in Lord Chandrasekhara, whose majestic form is adorned with an upper garment made from the hide of a mighty elephant, whose lotus feet are worshipped by Lord Brahmā and the lotus-eyed Lord Viṣṇu, and whose radiant white matted locks are sanctified by the cooling spray of the celestial river Gaṅgā. Having sought refuge in such a Lord, what indeed can Yama do to me?

Chandrashekhara Ashtakam - Verse 1
I seek refuge in Lord Chandrasekhara, who wielded Mount Meru as His bow, who dwells upon the summit of the silver mountain Kailāsa, who fashioned the mighty serpent Vāsuki into the bowstring, who used Lord Viṣṇu tipped with Fire as His arrow, who swiftly destroyed the three aerial cities of the demons, and who is adored by all the devas. Having taken refuge in such a Lord, what indeed can Yama, the lord of death, do to me?

A spiritual discourse explored the story of Markandeya holding the Shivalinga as a symbol of uncompromising commitment to a higher ideal. Core teachings centered on the distinction between stubborn ego-driven behavior and genuine surrender to an ideal, the integration of intellectual conviction (Satyam) with emotional connection, and the practice of Ishwara Arpitam — offering all action to the Divine. A Q&A session addressed Ishta Devata selection and handling false impressions from close family members.
