The Purusha thought about creation, its order etc.  The commentary of Adi Shankara refutes the Sankhyan view that Purusha is the bhokta and Pradhana or Prakriti is the karta.

What is the source of creation? Is it inert or sentient? Upanishads say that it is sentient, Consciousness or Brahman who desired.  Inert elements cannot be the source of creation. Is creation a random event & mere interaction & evolution of inert matter?
