  • Episode 481: 098 of 108 Names of Lord Shiva - Avyagraha - Who is undisturbed
Avyagrah mean one who is unmoved and unaffected. Even while involved in great deeds of war against evil forces and while giving punishments, Lord Shiva doesn't become restless, bewildered or tensed. The punishments are only for purifying and correcting the jivas or embodied souls and not an outcome of hatred, as all the beings are a part of himself and the lord doesn't forget it even for a moment. The Lord's kind and pleasing nature is not affected by the deeds of war or punishing activities. The Lord is above love and hatred. He just gives the fruit for our own karma

  • Episode 478: 095 of 108 Names of Lord Shiva - Avyayah - Who is Changeless
Avyaya means One who is changeless. All the physical things that exist have six stages of changes. Shiva doesn't go through these changes. The six changes are - is, born, grows, transforms, wears out and diminishes. These changes don't occur to Shiva as he always exists. There is neither growth nor decrement in him. He has no birth and therefore no death.
This name also means - One who does not become less. Vyaya - one in whom there is some subtraction or decay. The Lord is changeless. This indicates the Nirgun Niraakaar aspect of the Lord. In Saguna Saakaar rup there are changes, movements etc.
