Talk 143 Verses 526-530

The Guru continues to advise his disciple that having attained the bliss of the Self, live in silence without getting extroverted. As the mind abides in the Absolute Peace, there is the quietude of egolessness that pervades him. Free of vasanas this Man of Realisation lives unencumbered and untethered, drinking the Supreme Bliss. He is not bound by place, time, posture, direction or moral disciplines; he has risen above all kinds of rules having transcended Jiva bhava.

Talk 142 - Verses 522-525

For a man with a spiritual vision there is nothing except Brahman. All sense of separateness and duality have been transcended. To reach this pinnacle, there are various sadhanas for different personalities. Who will settle for paltry temporary pleasures when one can experience the Supreme Self? That highest state is not one of blankness, rather the fullness of the Spirit, Pure Bliss, referred to as tripti. The Guru again advises his disciple to revel and enjoy the bliss of the non dual Brahman, a state of param ananda.

Mahaasenajanaka - Mahāsena refers to Lord Kartikeya or Skanda. He was the commander-in-chief of the army of the Devas. His army was huge. This name indicates that Lord Shiva is the father of Kartikeya who had a huge army. He is worshipped in the form of the ather of Baby Skanda accompanied by Goddess Umā. This form is known as Somaaskanda - one who is accompanied by Umā and Skanda.

The images of the Trio: Siva, Uma and Skanda seated on the same pedestal are worshipped with a single appellation as Somaskanda.

Skanda is placed in the middle flanked by Siva to the right and Uma to the left. Shiva with his four hands is depicted in the following gestures. The right forehand bestows protection on the devotees, while the left is in the form of holding a flower bud. Of the rear ones, the left one holds an antelope and the right one a weapon. 
Skanda stands dancing with flowers in the hands between the Divine father and the Divine Mother.

Talk 141 Verses 517-522

The disciple is expressing his joy of the bliss of realisation and is sharing his experience of non dual Supreme Bliss with his teacher. He acknowledges his Guru with reverence and much gratitude for having awakened him from his slumber of samsara. He is now blessed with sovereignty of the Self. The teacher with love and compassion now advises the disciple how a man of realisation should work in the world and what his relationship with the world should be.

Talk 140 : Verses 511-516

The disciple continues to expound on his state of realisation, having gone beyond his intellectual realm of thoughts and judgements. He acknowledges the countless modifications in Prakriti, knowing himself to be beyond all ,while negating what He is not. He declares himself to be the non dual substratum and illuminer of the entire gamut of names, forms and multiplicity, as the Supreme Reality. Through a series of pointers he indicates his state of Godhood- sat, chit, akhanda ananda, devoid of activity, parts or modifications, the non dual Brahman.

Vyomakesha - One who has space as his long locks of hair. In the vishvaroopa of the Lord, the space is visualized as his hair. Space is invisible and subtlest of the 5 elements. It accommodates everything, yet remains unaffected. This indicates that the Lord is also formless. Another meaning is the One who expanded his hair like the space to catch and hold Gangā.

Talk 139 : Verses 507- 510

We have seen how the disciple expresses his experience of realisation to the Guru, with no ego sense. He has no sense of doership, nor enjoyership, nor the bhav of the seer, rather has the sense of Pure Self alone. He acknowledges the foolishness of the jiva who identifies with the reflecting medium out of the sense of dehatma bhav and gets further deluded. This Man of Realisation is no longer affected by the conditionings, modifications or the dharmas of the BMI.

Talk 138 : Verses 503 to 507

'I am that unaffected, all pervasive, homogeneous Pure Consciousness, without any differences' - this is the realization of this student. We may use this as a sadhana for as - how much can I remain unaffected? At the mental equanimity is important to remain unaffected by the pairs of opposites in the world, so that I can detach from the mind also and realize I am Pure Consciousness and which has nothing to do with the BMI, nor the world. There is no body identification, no doership hence, unaffected by and indifferent to the results of one's actions, the disciple now abides in the bliss of the Immutable Changeless Pure Self.

Jagadguru: Guru of the universe. One who is the guru of the world and who blesses the world with the wisdom of Self-realization.

Devaasuraguruhu: This is another name of Lord shiva in the sahasranamavali. He is the preceptor of both the gods and demons. He is prajapati, the essential guru of devas and asuras. Brihaspati is the guru of gods and Shukracharya is the guru of demons. Shiva alone appears as brhaspati and Sukracharya

He is the guru for sanskrit language, dance, yoga, etc.

He is the guru of rishis also. He is the guru who inspires every being intrinsically. One who is the guru of bramha the creator too. He is adi guru.

स पूर्वेषामपि गुरु : कालेनानवच्छेदात् sa pūrvēṣāmapi guru : kālēnānavacchēdāt he is the guru even to the elders because he is eternal and not bound by time . This form of the Lord is worshipped as Dakshinaamurthy in the aagamas by people of all age groups.
