It’s not your clinical skill or your adjustments—it’s your patient experience. In this episode of Chiropractical, Host Jon Kec sits down with Dr. Lisa Goodman.
Together, they unpack a key shift in modern chiropractic care: it’s no longer just about the adjustment—it’s about how patients feel throughout their entire experience, from their first interaction to every visit that follows.
You’ll discover why so many patients drop off after just a few visits and, more importantly, what you can do to change that. Dr. Goodman shares easy-to-implement strategies to elevate every touchpoint in your practice—strengthening first impressions, building genuine connections through clear communication, and creating a front-desk culture that makes patients feel welcomed, understood, and valued.
What you’ll learn in this episode:
- The Modern Patient: How prior care, social media, and AI shape expectations before they even walk in.
- The "Frictionless" Journey: Small touchpoints that make a massive difference (parking, online booking, and immediate greetings).
- Staff Culture: How to use ongoing role-play to turn your front-desk team into retention superstars.
- Retention vs. Selling: How to frame wellness care as education and clear next steps, completely removing the "salesy" vibe.
