In this interview, we talk with Marty Wightman about his article, The Leadership Debate ~ How can coaching support the prediction of upcoming changes in leadership trends?
We have learned so much from the last two years and many people have shifted what is important to them in terms of life and work view. In the coming year, we will see many trends continue and emerge in our own worlds. Coaching support will be utilized and sought out more readily by those in leadership positions as core trends start to emerge or even stabilize.
Remote working vs. hybrid working vs. a full return to the office: the fight is on. It is our responsibility as leadership coaches to allow the debate to be heard but become the judge and jury of the debate.
Marty qualified as a coach in 2007 where he set up his practice in London, UK. He holds a Master's Degree in Psychology from the University of East London. In addition to his academic qualifications, he is member of the Association for Coaching, a Senior Member of the ACCPH and is trained by Stanford University Professors Bill Burnett and Dave Evans in Life Design.
Join us as we learn more from Marty about how coaching leadership will be critical in providing a richer connection between the workforce and leadership.

In this interview, we talk with Veronica Munro about her article, Get off to a Great Start...and Achieve Great Results!
The first steps we take at the beginning of our coaching are so very impactful, as we are engaging not just with the person in front of us, but with multiple hidden layers of the person inside; a person who wants to receive validation, hope and support.
A successful starting point for the coaching is to begin with the process of positive engagement with the coachee and their stakeholders that provides specific feedback and measures of success for the coaching engagement from the outset.
Veronica is an International Executive and Leadership Coach and Strategic Facilitator with over 25 years' experience coaching specifically CEOs, C-suite executives and their teams in over 30 countries within Africa, Asia, Middle East, Pakistan, Europe, and North America. In this interview, we talk with Joseph O'Connor about his article, Value Yourself First - The impact of coaching on the coach.
A coaching session is a co-creation between coach and client. Both learn something, both grow as a result. Coaching can be stressful so we need to be aware of the signals of stress from our own body and mind. Clients can trigger you. They may have issues that are close to a problem you have. Sometimes they have a need that causes you to feel the pressure to fulfill that need rather than be a coach. Coaches may be very empathic, and client's emotions can be infectious. Self-reflection is crucial for a coach, although you can use the issue to challenge the client.
Coaching is a wonderful profession. We get to talk with all sorts of people, in all walks of life and help them resolve difficult situations. It also provides many opportunities for learning and focusing on what you learn can have a positive impact on both the coach and the client.
Joseph O'Connor is an author, executive coach, trainer and consultant. He has given trainings in over thirty countries and specializes helping executives become more authentic leaders. Joseph is a global director and co-founder of the International Coaching Community (ICC). He founded the Neuroscience Coaching Centre in 2019 for coaches to have access to the best Neuroscience resources for coaching.
His vision is to contribute to an integrated model of coaching – physical, mental and spiritual - to help all to act with practical wisdom in an increasingly complex world.

In this interview, we talk with Alice Ackerman and Peter Demarest about Alice's article entitled "Coach the Cure, Not the Symptoms. A physician's perspective on assessments and a paradigm-shifting science for coaching."
Dr. Alice Ackerman is an Executive and Leadership Coach focused on individuals in healthcare settings as well as individuals undergoing transitions in their personal or professional life. She brings over three decades of experience in healthcare leadership and teaching in academic environments, as well as her vast clinical experience as a pediatric intensivist, to her current work. Alice is a staunch advocate of the role of women in organizational leadership.
Peter Demarest is the co-founder of Axiogenics, LLC, the leading developers of the science of neuro-axiology, the VQ Profile Assessment system, and related coaching and training systems, methods, materials. Axiogenics trains, certifies, and supports practitioners worldwide in use of Axiogenics’ game-changing technology.
As a pediatric physician who joined the coaching world, Alice found herself dealing with many of the same frustrating challenges coaching clients as she did with her medical patients. She found her patients and their parents had no effective way to communicate what was bothering them but she had numerous diagnostic tools to help diagnose the underlying cause and offer a treatment plan.
As a coach, she found the assessments she was introduced to in her training were inadequate and missing something important. They lacked was objective, reliable, and actionable data regarding the causes and a potential "cure" for whatever "dis-ease" the client was experiencing which was why they sought coaching help.
Join us as we discuss how Alice sought out a "better way" and found neuro-axiology through Axiogenics, LLC and Peter Demarest.

With the right approach, design, assessments, and measures of success, this faster, deeper approach is not only possible; innovators in our domain have well-established proof of concept.
Join us as we discuss how Pam went about making changes to the original coaching design and how you can implement these changes in your coaching.

In this interview, we talk with Peter Scott and Pierre Dussault about their article "Futureproofing - Prepare yourself and your clients for constant change."
We will discuss the fourth industrial revolution and how coaches are uniquely positioned to make a difference in this new era. We will also discuss AI (artificial intelligence) and why coaches do not need to fear it.
Peter Scott is a futurist, author, and technology expert. A Master’s degree in computer science from Cambridge University led to thirty years of working on enterprise computing for NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory and helping land spacecraft on Mars. A parallel career in business coaching and human development added a uniquely valuable perspective on the implications of artificial intelligence development. He teaches postsecondary courses and bespoke corporate training on how to thrive through the coming era of technological disruption. He’s appeared before highly diverse audiences in several countries, including testifying before a British Parliamentary group on the impact of AI, and giving two TEDx talks.
Pierre Dussault, Eng, PCC, is a leadership/management consultant who brings his unique life and work experiences to help entrepreneurs, engineers and managers be more effective and engaged, and navigate through major transitions in their lives and work. Previously, Pierre had worked 18 years in the telecom industry and five years in civil engineering.
