Choke Up On The Mike

Dave Waite and Connor Delehanty stop by the studio. We talk about Dave's first appearance on the show. We also talk a little about LCS. Enjoy this one. Tell a friend please. @MikeMerryfield @MikesPodcast

Happy Cole is a legend in the business. I have been hearing his name for the 18 years I've been doing stand-up. As is the case most of the time we had never met until now. We worked Brad Garett's club at the MGM in Vegas. What a class act and a funny comedian. I really had a blast working with him and had even more fun recording this episode. @MikeMerryfield @MikesPodcast

So I'm working Brad Garretts Comedy Club in Las Vegas and Bob is the opening act. Holy shit what a funny guy! We had a blast working the club and did a little podcasting while we were at it. He does a lot of great impressions but my favorite is his Rich Vos. I cant get enough of it.!

I worked at Brad Garrett's Comedy Club and was lucky enough to work with the big guy himself. He is one of the nicest people I've ever met. He was even nice enough to record an episode of my podcast. Enjoy!

JF Harris stopped by the studio while working the Skyline in Appleton. What a cool and funny dude. I have absolutely no memory of recording this episode so your guess is as good as mine as to what was discussed. @MikeMerryfield @MikesPodcast

Dan and I go way back! He and I have a radio background in common. So we talk radio and comedy like a couple of professionals. @MikeMerryfield

I was lucky enough to meet up with Ben while I was in Vegas working at

the Riviera. He is a legend in the business and one of the funniest guys

to watch work. A long time ago he hosted a show called "Comedy's Dirty

Dozen". The show featured Bill Hicks, Tim Allen, Bill Hicks, Jackie

Martling, John Fox, The Vidale and more.

I've known Greg for my entire career. I met him in Milwaukee at the Comedy cafe and had the pleasure of working with him a ton of times. He always makes me laugh. We have an amazing conversation about marriage and relationships. We manage to squeeze a little comedy talk in there as well. Greg is doing very well in Vegas which makes me think even more about the possibility of moving here. What a blast to sit down and talk with such a funny veteran in the game. Enjoy and share. Please please please tell someone about my show. Tanks.  @MikeMerryfield @MikesPodcast

My old pal Dwight York and I did a gig together. It was at a BBQ joint

turned comedy club. I've known Dwight for some time now but rarely get

to see him because we are both busy headlining. Dwight was doing a favor

for the booker and I was the beneficiary. We talk a lot about stand-up

and it's current standing in the world. Always fun catching up with old

friends. @MikeMerryfield @MikesPodcast @VileFileGuy

I met Dave when we were working in Detroit together at Joey's. This dude is hysterical and incredibly talented. He had taken the middle spot as a favor to the booker...and to every shitty headliner out there. It's hard to explain what this kid does but his first ten minutes is the funniest shit I've ever seen. Now I want to point out that I had no problem following him. I'm a goddamn professional. But he CANNOT be a middle act. He's way too good. That's exactly what I told the booker. This kids going to be huge. @MikeMerryfield @MikesPodcast
