Kyle Sleeman joins us on the podcast today for another great episode talking shop. Kyle Sleeman is a Ontario born Brazilian Jiu Jitsu blackbelt and International BJJ Competitor. He has accumulated over 22 years of grappling experience through judo and BJJ.
Kyle has had the opportunity to work as an in BJJ Globetrotters Instructor all over the world meeting amazing people and instructor from all over. With his expansion of his network he was able to become a BJJ FANATICS instructor releasing 6 instructional so far and will be coming out with more before the year is out.
As he is currently preparing for the IBJJF World Masters Championship at the end of the month we talk about his current training, his advice to competitors of all ages and his exploration in continuing to grow the sport of Brazilian JiuJitsu right here in Canada.

We're heading into the week discussing possibly the biggest fight speculation to come into the MMA world in recent history.
Big guns Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg have supposedly agreed to a fight in the UFC and its up to Dana White to make it happen. Will this actually happen or is this just one big grift? Zuckerberg who's been seen getting his fair share of competition reps in has been thus an amazing individual getting eyes on the sport of BJJ. Elon the space ship flying, twitter baron is no in his crosshairs. Who comes out on top?
We also have an actual grappling super event happening that hasn't been getting the attention it deserves. UFC Invitational 4 featuring a main event of Feilpe Pena vs Craig Jones. The card also features many other matches which include. Anthony Smith v Glover Teixeira, Nicholas Meregali v Roberto ‘Cyborg’ Abreu, Roman Bravo-Young v Alex Perez, and lastly grappling newcomer Helena Crevar v Emily Fernandez.

Shah Franco's has accomplished more in the world of martial arts than most individuals can in achieve in a single art. One of Toronto’s legendary MMA trainers, Professor Franco is one of the most respected and well-known Traditional and Modern Martial Arts Instructors in all of Canada. A Master of Traditional Karate (7th Degree Black-Belt, IKA World Champion, North American Champion, World Games Competitor), Professor Franco was one of the first Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu practitioners to be ranked to Black belt in Canada.
Under the guidance and teachings from Master Sylvio Behring, Professor Franco and his students were the beginning of the MMA and Brazilian JiuJitsu scene you see today in Ontario and spread throughout Canada. Many of the his former and current students are the foundation of what you see todays Canadian Brazilian JiuJitsu scene.

Jammed packed with some amazing matchups this coming weekend the Godai Super Series features a 8 Man Purple Belt Grand Prix with number superfights with some amazing competitors throughout Ontario this weekend March 11th in Scarborough, Ontario.
