In her book* Living Without Fear, author Kirsten Birkett (Ph.D.) will teach you how to work past your anxiety with the help of psalms. As she shares honestly from her own life, you will feel like this is someone who truly understands what it’s like to fear, and yet find peace in Christ. Therein are contained lessons on how to read into the words beyond the surface level to truly let the Lord’s lessons flow through you. Doing so you can obtain practical insights and learn to apply your new-found insights to resolve the issues you are experiencing with anxiety.

This book is filled with meditations and explanations behind the meaning of selected Psalms, each of which contains wonderful truths about God. Living Without Fear describes how knowing those truths can affect our emotions. It gives examples of people who are fearful of life, of their enemies, or of the troubles of the world that can befall them. So it is all the more important to think about how we educate our hearts with the truth.
