Every man dies, not every man really lives. This statement pierced my soul the first time I heard it as a young boy and has stirred deep inside ever since. Could it be true? Could I go through life, could you go through life, accumulating jobs, relationships, money, a family, everything...and never really live?

I have been on a quest to answer this question for the past decade and one of the greatest lessons I have learned is this journey should not be taken alone. Today, we discuss where we've been, where we're going & most importantly, how you can be a part.

So often in life there are signs that take place. These can be external or internal and can certainly manifest in a variety of different ways. What happens when we live life unaware to the signs right in front of us? More importantly, what do we do with the signs once we do take notice? So often we have more momentum to start something new than we do to finish strong. As we wrap up 2020, it's a great time to remember how important it is to finish stronger than you started. We will look at what keeps us from finishing what we set out to do and how to overcome those challenges to finish strong. 

Sometimes we are stuck waiting. Whether it's from an unexpected medical diagnosis, waiting to hear back from a job interview, or waiting expectantly for a vision of the future to come to fruition, we all wait. What if there was a purpose in the waiting season? 

Creating good habits doesn't have to be hard. So often we know what we want to do and the habits we want to have, yet we struggle to follow through. Why is that? In today's episode we address the two step process to start or reinforce good habits and break down the bad habits.

The truth of the matter is having an attitude of gratitude is a choice. It is not circumstantial and it is not dictated by others. It is a choice we make inside ourselves. An attitude of gratitude should not be confined to just this week as we go into Thanksgiving, but it should be something we live out daily.

The purpose of a boundary is to define what is mine and what is yours. It clearly defines what is in my space and what is in your space. Most boundaries work from the inside out. Once you have internally defined boundaries, you will then be able to externally live them out. This will give you freedom and promote healthy self care. To Choose Life day in and day out, we need to learn how to have appropriate boundaries.

Greater than 40% of the actions that you take in a single day are out of habit. You do them by default. You do them because you’ve done them before. When you Command Your Cadence, you begin to facilitate your habits. When you facilitate your habits, you begin to facilitate your life. To choose the life you were created for, it all begins with commanding your cadence.
