In order to choose a courageously authentic and purpose driven life, learning the discipline of leaning into healthy pain is a necessary component of the journey and this lifestyle. A majority of us spend our lives doing everything we can to avoid being subject to pain, pursuing a life of comfort and safety. But we have to lean into the healthy pain and let it do its refining work in us, making us a more authentic version of ourselves, while avoiding the self inflicted pitfall of stupid pain. The radically human, courageously authentic and purpose driven life you were created to live is often just on the other side of the pain you are unwilling to endure. 

The difference between the life you have and the life you want are the choices you make every single day. Choosing to drop the amateur status and turn pro will catalyze you towards the life you have always wanted. Pros build their schedule by priority, not proximity. They do consistently what others do occasionally. They don’t make the same mistakes twice. Join us this week for a new episode of Choose Life. 

Being Purpose Driven is core to Choose Life. When we wake up, we get to choose whether to be Purpose Driven or Circumstance Trapped. We get the choice to either keep our eyes on the hurdles, waves and challenges of life OR choose to drive toward the unique, fundamental, essential purpose we were created to live. Will we bring up the hard topics everyone else avoids, humbly speak truth in love and risk our own personal discomfort, and potentially even more, for the greater good? Will we communicate our opinion even when we are in the clear minority? To Choose Life we must consistently leverage Courageous Authenticity.

Choosing Life is a layered process, made up of several attributes. One of those attributes being Radically Human.

So what does that mean? In this episode, we peel back the onion to break down the fundamentals that involve Choosing Life and becoming Radically Human. It’s about “showing your pit stains” and creating genuine connections with others. It’s embracing the messy, emotional, raw, layered chaos that is life. Sometimes the world we live in can feel dark. And even though it is the world we know, at times it can feel different and darker than other times. We experience this darkness ourselves and see it on the faces of those around us. The question is are we letting that darkness envelope us, consume us, and disorient us? Or are we pushing back against it and shining our light? Are we choosing to let our light shine and stand in contrast to the darkness within the world? To Choose Life we must be the light.
