Derek and Britney talk about the passion behind Choose RCVRY for our own state of Alaska. As part Alaska Aleut, Britney shares some of her cultural background as well as the hurt that exists due to addiction in many of these rural locations. Derek too shares from his experience living in rural Alaska. One of our desires for the Choose RCVRY brand is to point people to rewrite the story of addiction and hell across this state... and that so many of these beautiful cultures would find healing over addiction.

In this episode Derek sits down with two local residents to our community's sober home ministry, Freedom House. Matt and Austin are both in recovery and using their talents to showcase the ministry of Freedom House.

Derek and Courtney interview Rob and Jolene as they share their own journey through pornography addiction. By God's help Rob overcame his own addiction to porn and Jolene learned of her own need to recover as his wife. Today they raise awareness for porn addiction recovery and Jolene specifically focuses on helping lead women who've been affected by a porn addiction in their relationships.
