My guest today made an Instagram post stirring the pot in the body positivity/acceptance community and is living the positive and negative repercussions. The Body Positivity movement started to bring a voice to those in marginalized bodies, and recently it's been centered around creators living in socially acceptable bodies and those living with thin privilege. Raffela made a viral post calling for more action from these body positive influencers back in May, and we sit down to discuss how her world has changed, mental health battles and living in an age of social media. We also talk about how to use the voice you have to be inclusive, no matter the size of your platform.
