It's starting to feel like we've been drowning in new music. There was so much to get through this week and felt like we spent most of the episode jumping from one release to another in record timing. Despite the overwhelming feeling of trying to get round to all the music we wanted to, there was so much good drops. We had new joints from Ard Adz, Knucks, Lancey Foux, Lucky Daye, Benny The Butcher, Orlando Weeks and DapzOnTheMap. Rebel raised a question we're sure most unsigned artists have been asking in regards to Spotify For Artist's feature whereby artists pitch a song to the editorial team in hopes their new song will be playlisted.

Another week of running through a bunch of releases. It would seem as though we've really got back into the swing hunting for new music and more importantly acts we've never heard of before. This week was quite busy in the Grime scene with corn flying left, right and centre. We got war dubs from Cadell, PK, Reece West & Subten, Aye Nizzy, Renz, K9 and a few others which for Rebel was the highlight of the week. As a result this brought up this age old discussion on whether or not Grime is dead later on in the episode. We revisit our conflicted emotions about Drill as a genre off the back of Digga D's latest freestyle. That aside, we got into releases from Kojey Radical, King Von, Ariana Grande, Pink Pantheress and a few others. We hope you enjoy!

This episode was quite a quick one hence the episode's title. We covered releases from Conway The Machine, Dappy, Ego Ella May, Rexx Life Rajj, Che Ecru, Dave, Digga D plus many more. We thoroughly enjoyed a lot of the music that dropped this week and hope you all did too along with this episode.

Rest in perfect peace to Jamal Edwards. It's a must that we start with that which I'm sure most if not all of you would agree on. In this week's episode we had our first guest (DC) join us to discuss all things music as we both appreciate her ear for music greatly. Again, we made a point of not solely focusing on new releases but covered Muni Long's 'Hrs and Hrs' and her long grind to get to this point in her career. Discussing this brought us onto how and why we feel playing the long game can be beneficial for artists. As part of our tribute to Jamal Edwards we revisited some of our favourite F64's and/or A64's and went on to further discuss his legacy. We hope this episode is as enjoyable to you as it was for us recording it. 

Our listeners by now would have noticed that our last few episodes were seemingly behind in terms of the "new" releases that we covered but enough is explained this week to clear that up. This week we got into whether or not an artist that we're sure most of you are familiar with is "on the clock" or not which turned out to become a lengthy discussion. Roddy Rich's "Live Life Fast" album had to get a mention from us but we went on to cover releases from Earl Sweatshirt, Landel, Denzel Curry, Emmitt Dupree, Benny The Butcher, Reo Cragun, Namesbliss, Etta Bond and Tobi Lou. 

From early doors it's clear what type of time we were on this week. Ready to talk the tings. We covered quite a lot this week from Big Sean and Hit Boy's 'What You Expect' EP to Kanye West's Drink Champs interview and everything in between. We always backtrack and visit older albums/releases that we found impactful so as per usual expect some of that too.

As per usual we venture off but it was a must Juls’ “Sound Of My World” got a mention as there are a few gems on that project. 

Someone decided to introduce this week's episode with gun shots that probably wouldn't scare an infant. This week we got into some long anticipated projects for both of us. For Rebel it was Meek Mill's 'Expensive Pain album and for Dre it was Potter Payper's 'Thanks For Waiting' project. Ray BLK's 'Access Denied' also dropped the same week which we got into but as expected got into some UK music topics. Enjoy

The title for this week’s episode is pretty self explanatory, but not for everything. The legend that is Anthony Hamilton released a project which we had to talk about. Shakka blessed us with his latest offering entitled ‘Road Trip To Venus’ and Mo stack dropped the second part to his High Street Kid series. NBA YoungBoy also released his long awaited project which we covered to some degree. Long projects vs short projects have been an ongoing conversation in the culture so we gave our take on it while also properly identifying the ‘Lo-fi’ sub-genre.

The first order of business for this episode was covering Wiley's 'Anti-Systemic' album which ended up taking us down memory lane and revisiting some early Grime / Garage music as well as some of the drama in the scene at the time. After being little grandads we eventually got onto K-Trap's 'Trapo' project, M1llionz's 'Provisional License and Baby Keem's 'The Melodic Blue'. Enjoy!
