This week I am speaking about my candidacy for School Board Trustee for Telkwa and Quick (SD #54, northern BC). I mostly talk about the importance of ensuring parents are involved in what their children are being taught and in any decisions being made or any activities being planned in the school in which their children would be expected to participate.

My guest this week is Tom Harris, a friend of the show and Executive Director of the International Climate Science Coalition—Canada. Tom is an expert on climate science. In this episode, we discuss the proposed West Coast Oil Pipeline, part of a much-larger project, the National Interest West Coast Corridor, currently under review by the Major Projects Office.

My special guest this week—and our go-to expert on all things that taxpayers and citizens need to know—is Kris Sims, Alberta Director for the Canadian Taxpayers Federation. We discuss the move to abolish the Canadian Senate, once seen as the ‘Chamber of Sober Second Thought’, but now described as a rubber-stamp for the government in power.

My special guest this week is Det. Helen Grus of the Ottawa Police Force. Det. Grus testified recently at the Allison Inquiry. She was suspended in February, 2022 for investigating whether the doubling or tripling of infant deaths in Ottawa might be connected to the rollout of the covid vaccines and the injections of pregnant women and nursing mothers. Her investigation was halted and she herself was disciplined and demoted for her efforts to uncover the causes of death, although that was part of her job at the time. A documentary, Silencing Detective Grus, has been made about the attempts to discredit her and her work.

My special guest this week is Mattea Merta, a wonderful lady who has spent years bringing family values and respect for human life to the United Nations and liaising with family values representatives from many countries to influence and encourage policy makers at the highest level of international governance. She is a published writer and has worked with a number of organizations, including Campaign Life Coalition. She now serves as Director of Policy and Strategic Engagement for TPUSA Faith, the faith-based arm of Turning Point USA. In her role, she works to equip Christians and church leaders to engage confidently in civic and cultural life around issues of faith, family, and freedom. She also maintains an active presence at the UN where she and her colleagues are making a huge difference!

My special guest this week is Dean Allison, Member of Parliament for Niagara West. On this podcast we will be discuss the upcoming Allison Inquiry into vaccine injuries which Mr. Allison has organised along with Shawn and Teresa Buckley. We also discuss the shortcomings of Canada’s existing Vaccine Injury Support Program: the vast number of vaccine-injured Canadians who have not been able to access benefits and some of the dark reasons why. The Allison Inquiry will be hearing testimony from 50 Canadians (a very small sample out of thousands) in Ottawa on September 8,9,10 and 11. The proceedings will be livestreamed.

My special guest this week is Beth St Denis, a valued friend and fellow worker. Beth is a lifelong resident of Windsor, Ontario where she is currently seeking a seat on the Greater Essex County District School Board. We discuss her platform: wanting to put the needs of students first, strengthening the partnership between parents and schools, improving academic achievement and creating more transparency and dialogue between the school board and the public. Beth has been active on these things as a concerned citizen and now hopes to bring positive change through direct participation on the board.

My special guest this week is Julia Poole. Julia is a seasoned educator with over four decades of experience teaching in both public and Christian school settings from kindergarten through university. She has contributed to education internationally as a Faculty Associate at both secular and Christian universities in Canada, Finland, Japan, and China. She also chairs March4Jesus in Surrey, BC and is currently planning for the 2026 March for Jesus to be held on Saturday, September 19. All are welcome! My special guest this week is Päivi Räsänen, a medical doctor and, for over 31 years, a Member of Parliament in Finland. Päivi has been Minister of the Interior for Finland, Chair of the Christian Democratic Party of Finland and has held many other prominent roles. On March 26, 2026, the Finnish Supreme Court ruled against her in a 3-2 decision, fining her for her statements supporting a biblical view of gender and sexual relationships. They also banned her booklet “Male and Female He Created Them.” Päivi is now challenging that decision with an appeal to the European Court of Human Rights. She is standing firmly on the Word of God and courageously defending her right to free speech in a democratic society.

My guest this week is Dr. Michael Wagner, independent researcher and writer, and a columnist for the Western Standard. He has written some terrific books about Christianity and politics in Canada.
