Chris and Reggie's Cosmic Treadmill episodes
- Weird Comics History, Episode 24: The Fifth WeekWhere is my Pet-er Park-erWhere is my Justice LeeeeagueWhere is my Un-canny X-MenWhere have all the cah-mics gooone?Well, gentle listener... if you have a calendar handy, you'll know that we're currently in the final week of a month that has FIVE Wednesdays! That puts us in the sticky-wicket known as a "fifth week". Not much on the racks this week unless you've got your eye on an overpriced (and likely underwhelming) Annual... or perhaps you're one of the "lucky ones", and your favorite titles are running late and are scheduled this week! Either way, if you're a fan of the "big two", it's slim pickins on the "New Release Wall".During this re-purposed episode we'll tell you all about why such a phenomenon exists, and chat about all the ways in which the big two tried to do damage control over through the years... and have a heckuva good time doing it! Join us, won't you?--Originally aired in lieu of a Young Animal Spotlight during Weird Science DC Comics Podcast Episode #126 (June 4, 2017).--You can get a hold of us at [email protected]--For our weekly writings check out www.weirdsciencedccomics.comFor Chris' daily writings check out www.chrisisoninfiniteearths.comFor our half-hearted blog/image depository check out www.weirdcomicshistory.blogspot.com--Visit us on Facebook at: www.facebook.com/CosmicTMillHistory and on Twitter @CosmicTMill--Subscribe to the show on iTunes, Stitcher, Google Play... wherever's most convenient! - Cosmic Treadmill, Episode 66 - The Death of Superman, Part 4 - Reign of the Supermen II and the Return!
Welcome back from the birthing matrix, listeners! This week, Chris (@AceComics) and Reggie (@reggiereggie) conclude their celebration of the 25th Anniversary of the Death of Superman by detailing the final issues leading to Superman: The Man of Steel #25--Superman's rebirth! And we don't mean Rebirth! After some quickie creator bios for the new faces in this episode, they careen through the many Superman group comics involved here--and one Green Lantern comic, besides! Then, after wrapping up biographies for the core Superman creative team and some more about the characters seen in this epic, our narrators talk about their memories of this comic book event, and essentially "wing it" with hopefully entertaining results! You'll feel like a new person after hearing this unforgettable episode!

- Cosmic Treadmill, Episode 65 - The Death of Superman, Part 3: Reign of the Supermen (1993)
Hello again, friends! In this episode, Chris (@AceComics) and Reggie (@reggiereggie) return to their 25th Anniversary celebration of the DC Comics event "The Death of Superman" with a look at 1993's "Reign of the Supermen," which ran through Action Comics #687, Superman: The Man of Steel #22, Superman #78, and Adventures of Superman #501--four comic books which were all released on the same day! After introducing some new creators and describing two related comics that came out during a three-month Superman publishing hiatus, they dissect each issue in their usual style. After a little discussion of their memories of reading this series as it came out, our pair look at other times heroes had to be replaced by understudies! It's an episode jam-packed with returns!

- Cosmic Treadmill, Episode 64 - The Death of Superman, Part 2: Funeral For a Friend
Greetings, fellow mourners. In this episode, pallbearers Chris (@AceComics) and Reggie (@reggiereggie) somberly detail the second chapter in the Death of Superman saga, 1992-93's Funeral For a Friend by DC Comics! After some recap, they describe Justice League America #70, which came out the same day as Superman #75 and served as a bridge into the eight-issue Funeral For a Friend series! And when those details are done, the show wraps up with some other funnybook funerals through the years. This episode puts the "fun" in "funeral!"
