Grateful that the talented Chris Murdock joins us on the latest episode of the Quarterback DadCast. Chris is the Co-Founder and Chief Sourcing Officer at IQTalent Partners (a division of Caldwell Partners). Chris has over 20 years of executive recruiting experience and leads research and sourcing for the firm while also developing client relationships. Additionally, he is a frequent speaker and panelist at industry events and is a proud Vanderbilt alum!
Before Founding IQTalent Partners, Chris was a Sourcer with Yahoo!'s internal Executive Recruiting team in the corporate offices in Sunnyvale, California. Previous to Yahoo!, Chris was an Associate in the Menlo Park, California office of Heidrick & Struggles, where he recruited software, hardware, professional services, and semiconductor clients. Before Heidrick & Struggles, Chris worked in the Retail Practice of TMP Worldwide in Atlanta, Georgia. Today, we talk to Chris, the Dad & Husband.
Chris and his wife, Jen, have one talented 10-year-old daughter, you will hear about. Not only does she love the 1980s, but she will become the next food network star, in my opinion! Our conversation was as raw and authentic as they come, as you will hear us both get emotional. We learned about Chris's upbringing and his relationship with his father, who spent over 30 years in the US Navy! We also learn about his close relationship with his Grandfather, who would serve as a father figure for most of Chris's young adult life. Chris would also share so much gratitude for his Aunt & Uncle, who taught him what was possible in life!
One of my favorite parts f our conversation was how we discussed the word appreciation. We would explore the difference between forgiveness and reconciliation and discuss why this is so important. There is so much more in this episode you won't want to miss! To learn more about Chris and IQ Talent, you can connect with them on Linked In
