In this edition of Talk of Champions, powered by RiverLand Roofing, Ben Garrett of the Ole Miss Spirit/On3 is joined by Rebel football legend Chris Spencer.
Spencer is now the founder and CEO of TeamQ, a performance intelligence tool created to analyze the ‘intangible’ qualities of athletes, such as their coachability, communication style and resilience. He also hosts the Intangible Podcast.
Spencer is a M-Club Hall of Famer and former three-year starter for the Ole Miss offensive line. He mostly started at center and contributed to a pair of bowl wins — the 2022 Independence Bowl and the 2004 Cotton Bowl.
The Rebels in 2003 finished 10-3 and set school records in 11 offensive categories. Spencer was first-team All-SEC. But he does want to correct the record on the lineman that stepped on Eli Manning’s foot in the Rebels’ only SEC loss to rival LSU.
Now he’s pouring into his alma mater through TeamQ and much, much more. He remains active as a forever Ole Miss Rebel and believes in what Lane Kiffin and Co. have built over six years.
