Chris and Eric sit down with Tiffany Bluhm (author of the book "Prey Tell", host of "Why Tho" podcast) and Lisa Goetze (Pastor at The Meeting House, Oakville Parish) to talk about purity culture, unhealthy power dynamics, gender roles and why the church has failed when it comes to protecting victims of abuse and corruption.

Chris and Eric open season 1 with a conversation about cheering for Terence Davis, a Toronto Raptor at the time of recording the episode (He is now on the Sacramento Kings) and the mental gymnastics of being happy that he was on their favourite team even though at the time he had just been under investigation for sexual assault by law enforcement. From there, they walk through the premise for their show - walking through what we might allow or gloss over in order to see their favourite team win - even if it may go against everything they hold as a value.
