Chris and Eric talk about how maybe they jumped on the "this pandemic is ending" bandwagon a bit too soon and talk about everything from rising numbers to where we go next. Then Chris starts to yell. It's pretty epic stuff!
Chris and Eric sit down with their friend Alyssa (Content & Communications Specialist, Compassion Canada) to talk about the songs that have gotten her through the pandemic so far, what she has learn about herself during the lockdown era and the work being done to stop Anti-Asian hate since the beginning of the COVID-19 crisis.

Chris and Eric jump back in after a few weeks off to talk about all the crazy things that took place in the world while they weren't podcasting. They catch up on the olympics (2:33) for a bit then spend the bulk of their time comparing notes out of the The Rise and Fall of Mars Hill Podcast series by Christianity Today (25:46). Finally, the guys give their flowers to Kyle Lowry as he has moved on from the Toronto Raptors (1:07:06).
After focusing last episode on how the church has changed somewhat due to the pandemic, Chris and Eric focus in on friendships, families, fake news on Facebook and the fallout of the pandemic when it comes to relationships. We have all learned so much about each other due to our use of social media and the sharing of our opinions. So how do we manage to see each other when we now know so much more. That's the conversation. We tried splitting this into two parts but it needed to be one. It's just that kind of conversation!
In this episode, it's back to just Chris and Eric again! The gents take time to talk about how the church has changed since COVID and what that could mean for the future of her impact in communities and our world. How do we deal with people who want less to do with organized religion than ever before? Is the church dead? Better than ever? What do you think? No seriously...we want to know!!!!
In the first episode of their second second, Chris and Eric, along with their guests Lisa Goetze (Oakville Pastor at The Meeting House, @lisamariegoetze on Instagram) and Karmyn Bokma (Oakville Lead Pastor at The Meeting House, @karmynbokma on Instagram) put a playlist together based on songs that helped them get through the pandemic life (they each picked 5 songs in a draft-like order: Karmyn, Lisa, Eric and Chris).
